I just purchased a brand new 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness edition in that exact same Military Green color. It is a really cool looking car and you’re right, I think it’s by far the best color they offer for the new Wilderness edition.
So far I haven’t heard any complaints of Crosstrek’s needing excessive maintenance, but have heard that if you plan on doing highly challenging off-roading like Moab regularly, you should start planning for the replacement gearbox.
I love my 2019 Crosstrek premium 6-Speed. The anti sway bar und the hood really limits any body roll. It’s a very nimble auto, 13-1 steering ratio is from the BRZ. The gear box has a very low 1rst gear.
I just bought a Crosstrek and love everything about it except the front seat. After driving it for a few days, I notice my back was bothering me. I have tried everything and can't get my back pain to stop when I drive in this car for more than 10 minutes. I would not recommend this car for anyone with back issues. I regret buying this car. The dealership isn't much help. They will take it back for 5,000 less than what I paid for it.
I went through the same on an 2017 model. Best thing is to buy a seat set with the back seat pad and head pillow. Also their higher models now come with Lumbar support. Should be standard.
Have you had the chance to drive it on snow? I see you're in Canada, where about? I ask because I'm in the GTA and wondering if winter driving of the CTW will perform well.
Unfortunately not! These are super popular and hard to get ahold of for review😅 Given what dual function x-mode can do, you’d have to seriously try to get in trouble. That’s to say I imagine it would be an absolute blast in the snow
I love this segment. I wish they did more with it as there are so many possibilities. Ford came close with the Bronco Sport but its not quite there and its overpriced.
Subaru makes a great offroad platform in the Crosstrek. Subaru CHOOSES to not offer a standard transaxle. The car is perfect for a standard. CVT fanboys will sweat and wring their hands over my slight. Remember by CHOICE. I will look elsewhere as far as offroad.
It’s rated to tow up to 3500 lbs - transmission cooler helps give it greater towing capacity than all the other trims.
That last comment got me at the end and I came here to say this!
External cooler! You can see it chilling right there under the grill!
one of my fav POV's of this (and I've watched A LOT), keep it up!! 💚
☺️will do… got more in the works!

The extra blank switches are for adding things like winches, extra lights, etc.
Are those the interior switches? On the Forester Wilderness that same blank button is for the front camera. Wish the CTW came with one
Love to see it man, great content
Goodness I can't wait to get one in the Sun Blaze Pearl!
Such a good colour
It’s definitely a nice car to have and be inside off. I’m worried about the maintenance. It requires more maintenance than other cars.

I WISH they still made the manuals!

My wife has fractured her back twice and she loves the seats in our 2024 Camry Hybrid.
Thank you! That car is on my list for a trade in.@@Raider19582

Which model did you purchase? Did it have the power seat or the manual driver's seat? Sorry to hear about this.
I bought the 2024 CTW.

Not a heated steering wheel my friend! Great video!
Haha! Good catch! I have an “I told you so” to dish out to someone😂
@AMMtheDriver Haha! It's just I bought this car a month ago so I know!
Canadian spec CTW's do have heated steering wheels. Unfortunately, US models can't be configured to have one. Maybe next year's model...?

Got the Limited over this. Just couldn’t justify the worse mpg and less wet grip.
could you post all your b roll in one vid?
Would love to! Wasn’t sure anyone wanted to see it… but now your getting an extra video this week:)
@@AMMtheDriver hell yea! awesome! thank you!!
needs to have push button rear hatch.
remember there is no first. Its a CVT.
Your right..."First"😂
A bit like the AMC Eagle of days long gone ...
Crazy comparison but spot on

Why can't car companies make a car with a Real Transmission instead of this cvt crap?
