shrinkage is a sign of healthy hair. If your hair naturally curly, it will spring up aka shrink. The only way to stop it is to damage it, use a lot of heat, avoid protein that gives it great elasticity or get a relaxer (shrugs).
@@curlynella1011 I know.. I know... that's why I wrote too much in quotes. because I'm grateful for my spring-up hair. I would never use relaxers or damage it just to have them more (irregularly) elongated.
I just want to know if some gel or STYLING product would give me these results. There are so many thousands of products, I'm sure that there's something that can provide this effect, I just don't know them.
Look, if you don't like to change up, non permanently your hair, is fine. But I like to Style my hair differently, and I also want to enjoy my length while curly, if possible not needing to stretch with heat. This doesn't mean that I would do *anything* to have elongated curls. 🤔
Try henna treatments. It protects the hair and may elongate the curl slightly. You can also braid or twist your hair as in protective styling. These are great alternatives to heat and chemicals and are healthy for your hair 😌
love your channel . I have learned so much from it
My hair badly needs protein.....my hair has all those signs
I hear her on the mushy hair. I recently talked about protein and growing hair.
Any protein product recommendations?
How do I know if my hair is mushy?
How often can it be done in a month to achieve such results ❤
I’m confused what is mushy hair?? When hair is wet isn’t it mushy anyways??
My hair is see through but not my scalp
If you pull it and it stretches a lot, like in a way that is weird, what does that mean?
What are some protein products to use? Can I use items I already have to make my own at home? Example: eggs, acv, avocado.
You’re better off using commercial protein treatments; the protein is already broken down, often into amino acids, so the hair can absorb it easily. My favorite is the Pureology Strength Cure, brought my hair back from the brink.
What the heck is mushy wet hair? Even with the description I’m still not getting it 🥴🤣
Can someone please define "mushy"? Like how do I tell if my hair is just wet from the water or mushy? I am so confused with my hair, all the info I keep learning about wavy hair tells me my hair has every problem, it's dry, it's damaged, it has too much protein and not enough, it has too much moisture and not enough, Idk what to think or what to do...I am just so overwhelmed by all the contradicting info and advice available.
For me it feels like wet tangled wool even after I use my conditioner. When I use protein treatments it feels a lot silkier when it’s wet.
It will feel a little slimy but for me the biggest sign is the curl pattern. The coils are limp looking and are not springy and strong.
How can you implement more protein?
I just found out my protein levels were low is that a bad thing
I have curly hair so when I pull a hair it stays straight and does not come back so
It all started when I used Keratin "curly" hair products 😢🙄
My jam is playing in the background!
How do u get hair protein
Use CANTU products
Hey!! So I got protein for my hair and now it's straight but I wanna dye it so if I dye it will my hair go back to normal (curly) or not?
Does the hair need to be wet or dry when doing this test?
I really dont understand what muchy hair is?!?
What does mushy even look or feel like?
Just pulled my hair....and no spring at all!!!!! 🤦🏾♀️
Same!! Can I know what did you do to heal it??
Only the back of my hair springs back. 😢😢 I know it's from years of wearing half wigs, but I can't get it back
What is mushy hair?
Hair that’s mushy
Thank You!
Can you do a video for if your hair too much protein?
When I pulled the hair it broke. I didn't even pull that hard.
