Hello wandered investor as a Salvadoran living abroad I agree with some parts of the video. But what you don't understand is that there is a bubble in the housing market. Great and accurate analysis… I am from El Salvador and everything is up ⬆️ like crazy and is the opportunity local people got to sale and get whatever they want so is wild Wild West right now
Thank you for the overview of RE investment in El Salvador. I'm not Salvadorian but I did invested and I spent 2 years with the investment journey. The country is developing more rapidly than imagined. The most beautiful beaches are in the west part of the country ad it is not well developed yet. I n my opinion, you need to spend more than two weeks because what you can learn from the locals is much more interesting than the professionals there who are just looking for an opportunity to take advantage of Salvadorians abroad and foreigners interested in investing. There is still so much to do from big projects like Malls, hotels, resorts and smaller ones like small houses by the beach with an Airbnb concept. This is the time to invest in El Salvador and people should take advantage of that now.
I agree with you completely. last year I visited El Salvador thinking that it would be a a very cool up and coming country due to the promotion it's been receiving. I left Very disappointed. I described it to my friends as third world quality at first world prices. Meals were between 10 and $20 for something very basic unless you're eating pupusa. The beaches were not very nice and the people there still throw their trash on the ground. There's piles of garbage everywhere.

I have to agree with you, his approach is that of a foreigner who failed to understand the culture, gastronomy and year round festivities that most us who were born there, value and cherish. There’s one thing I agree with his assessment, which is to keep foreigners from buying. You can visit, but don’t buy. This will make it easier for us to buy in our homeland. He also doesn’t understand, that Salvadoran subscribe to passing their land to their children, grandchildren etc. properties become legacy homes where everyone gathers, while he may not like the price, if you want a family to part ways with assets they hold dear to them, you’ll need to pay the price, otherwise, don’t bother.

..as a salvadoran , I welcome any foreigners that want to come live and/ or invest in El Salvador. It is the only way we're gonna grow stronger and wealthier. Correction though; illegal immigration from El Salvador to the US has dropped by 67% since BUKELE took office. You left out prime surfing beaches such as PUNTA MANGO, PUNTA ROCA, LAS FLORES , LOS ESPINOS, and many virgin beaches to the east of SAN SALVADOR. El Salvador is a great place to invest, so much so that TRUMP is planning on building 6 Hotels along the Surf city circuit. I don't think you'd wanna invest in an official dictator state such as Nicaragua or over priced Panama that most of its attraction is just the canal.
I was just in El Cuco and El Tamarindo. It was very expensive. I live in Costa Rica now in the beach area. These prices were comparable to the most expensive country in Latin America CR. That was my experience, perhaps I just didn’t look at the right properties.
Your statement about trump hotels in El Salvador completely untrue. There is some amateur video about this on Facebook and nothing else. This is how lies are spread.
Fun fact; it took Singapore 53 years to go from third world into what it is now Rome wasn’t built in a day and El salvador sure won’t flip in a year Do what you want with that information
It's probably true that El Salvador real estate is not a good place to put money; but in comparing El Salvador with Panama, one consideration would be that an American would have a realistic shot at getting Salvadorian citizenship, but it probably wouldn't happen in Panama; as for Nicaragua, it's my understanding that a US citizen would have to renounce in order to get Nicaraguan citizenship. So... many factors to consider.
Nice work.....straight shooter. I am rooting for El Salvador but not going to invest. Is anyone making yield on those volcano bonds they were talking about a while back?
you point and opinion is understanable and you are correct. It will take a couple of generations for the country to be what we want it to be, for now we are enjoying the freedom and safety that was taken away 30+ years ago. Rome was not build in one day and even though there is some hype about my country, never the less is a much, much safer place now and the citizens now have the opportunity to better them selves. We are looking at the coming generations to make the country a better place and it will take time.
Honestly at this point and time it's still a free market over there in respect to opportunities. Most things that just from personal experience here in the US are up for grabs when it comes to money. Things we take for granted here are commodities over there and trust me they will make money off of it. Just got back today from three weeks in San Salvador and Guatemala. In respect to real estate buy now while you can. I work as a contractor for demolition & abatement in Houston, but talks have been made for heavy work due to this new found security in the market. As well as property procurement
Very interesting, thanks. Seems like there is a lot of capital looking for a home, so you get overpriced real estate. I'm not looking to invest but La Union sounds like a good possibility.

Hello, great video 👍🏻.. for someone moving to El Salvador to become a homebuilder. Where would be the best place you’d recommend them to build new homes for locals with best ROÍ in mind? Thanks.
Hi there, I am salvadoran. You kinda need to enter the market ASAP as the real estate is going up quickly. I bought an apartment (152 m2) in a ver well sought after area just before the market exploded. 4 years later and the price has almost trippled, so lucky me. Right now, all the area near the historic center is being rebuilt and you can still buy in at a somewhat decent price. Mind you, the government and a lot of businesses are heavily investing so in about a year or two that whole area is going to be worth a lot. Hope that helps you out 😊
@@TheWanderingInvestor It's supposed to be a super tourist place, but it's very nice. Even the president has a home there. He did his recent Tucker Carlson interview from there. They are building some new villas Home overlooking the call Agua Calientes. But it's hard to get comparables, it's like the wild wild west. Did you come across any agents or knowledgeable people worth contacting to pick their brains?
Excellent video. I'm retired and alone. I was thinking of moving to ES to live cheaper, but when I went to the RE sites, I was surprised to see fairly high prices. I don't want to live in a relative shithole unless it's bottom dollar. This guy explained what's going on. All the positive developments are being discounted into the future, so prices are just too high. Perhaps Bukele should implement gov policies to pop the bubble.
Real estate is of a price In El Salvador . Safety has been a catalyst. However, there are several inaccuracies about this content. Anyway, the best one can expect from a casual observer of the country.
So you did not find anything cheap and now you have very little good to say about a wonderful country, and the comments about Singapore.. o boy Singapore was not the way it is now in one generation, it took a bit of time to be what it is now , El Salvador will be one of the greatest countries in America without a doubt, and if you can get a piece of real state now you’re investment will sky rocket in the next few years, no decades, and people is not stupid in El Salvador clearly, they are very aware that the real state they own now been priced highly is going to be much more valuable very shortly.🤗
Dont forget they just recently found gold minerals below el salvadors terrain now my country has wealth beyond amass enough to back up investors n realtors n the people who r looking for opportunities to work
The big question is to what extent the new political climate is tied to the personal policies of Bukele or to the overall political and economic class. This doubts will remain until after he is replaced in a future election, and whether he will float towards an authoritarian type of leadership, which will work against the current political and economic environment of Bukele, or whether nefarious forces will work against Bukele. And if Trump gets elected he will work to return the illegal migrants to their countries, including El Salvador. And perhaps the question would be why a Canadian or American would seek residency in a country as you have described it.
If they laugh they are too arrogant and this will play them a bad favor. in Bulgaria it was the same situation in 2005-2009 with our acceptance in European Union. No body sold, everyone seeking to buy and then a crash happened. El Salvador real estate is is tight to bitcoin. If price crash, RE will go down. This will inevitably happen as btc is volatile asset.
I just returned from El Salvador this week and agree with you about the overpriced Real Estate. However, I am the guy who wants to live there, so I am pursuing the idea. I appreciate your analysis.

you point and opinion is understanable and you are correct.
Good non bias video.
Hi. Thanks for your channel and the info you've providing. Living between Montenegro/Albania temporary (I am from Ukraine). If it is possible, could you please share you thoughts about real estate market in Albania? From my point of view, it could be like Montenegro before it's crazy growth during past 2 years.
@@sergpro7048 thanks. Albania has seen similar growth as Montenegro in the past 2 years, though from different sources.
Great video. Thanks. I’m rooting for El Salvador. Hopefully they’ll have more due process with the white-collar corruption cleanup.
This government is exactly doing the oposite, while the gang crime reduced the white collar corruption is increasing even faster
Another great insightful video. Lad, what is the red bracelet you are wearing? What a life, world travel, investment, making a great living.....wow.....
All inclusive resort bracelet in Egypt 😅
Don't worry about it. It's a worldwide phenomenom.
Can you jump to Argentina from there? Thank you 😅
Another latin country on the right trajectory
Probably my favourite video of yours. I would love to see a Bukele-like president in Mexico.
Thank you. Would definitely be better than what they just elected.
@@TheWanderingInvestor No comment on this one 😅
@@TheWanderingInvestor I'm actually feeling good about this election and I'm bullish on Mexico's future, but I respect your opinion and would love to know your thoughts. Any chance you could do a video on Mexico?
@@AdeleFrizzell-j7e Thanks. I will when I go back 👍. There is already a lot of Mexico content on my website and a whole TH-cam Playlist
Careful what you wish for!
what would you say is the option for someone who wants to live there as an expat? Just rent a place and dont buy anything since prices are so high?
I’d rent first for sure, and take my time before buying and finding an opportunity.
Or buy land and build. Cheaper.
@@TheWanderingInvestor Thanks for the quick answer! I watched your other video about residency in El Salvador as well. Is it possible to get residency by investing in property?
@@Daniel-uc9qb 🙏 unfortunately not
Why ask to a guy that just visited the place for two weeks? Of course the logical answer is first rent !!!
Hi Ladislas, have you done any videos on Santo Domingo, like the areas of Piantini, Bella Vista, Naco, etc.???
I have not
Hey I love the work and the the info of investment opportunities you do . I was hoping you could do one on margarita island in Venezuela
I want to go down there. Yes. Thank you.
Moving there later in the year, great place, in regards mc donalds they are no longer accepting Bitcoin, Wendys its a hit and miss, places that do accept bitcoin are walmart, super mercados selectos, helados boston, dollar city.

Just wondering. Is El Salvador getting a lot of foreign direct investments recently? I have been following El Salvador since the gang crackdown. I am hoping that El Salvador will have a booming economy in the future.
great video thanks so much for making it
Hello, great video 👍🏻.. for someone moving to El Salvador to become a homebuilder.
Hope that helps you out 😊
Did you get a chance to visit lago De caotepeque? If so what are your thoughts?
I did not
@@TheWanderingInvestor It's supposed to be a super tourist place, but it's very nice.
@@donscott2681 go to Nicaragua. Much better value for money.
I love El Salvador ❤
Love your straight up honest and to the point analysis as always, keep it up!
Bukele is the greatest president in the world.
Hey do you know any lenders they will do a loan in El Salvador? I live here in the USA
No mortgages to non residents
@TheWanderingInvestor ok thanks I am an investor in Tennessee I do have a project in el salvador
Not really, there are financial institutions that give credit to non citizens. Want more info?
Unfortunately, now that people (general speaking) have the means to invest, everything gets more expensive, and it's the never-ending circle.
How much land do you want to buy? I can help you.
Real estate is of a price In El Salvador . Safety has been a catalyst. However, there are several inaccuracies about this content. Anyway, the best one can expect from a casual observer of the country.
120 plus volcanoes in el salvador. Weather matters also
Buddy, you need to inform yourself before making unwise comments, every person in jail has had his/her due process!!
No, a state of exception was introduced so they didn't have to do that.
How much would you pay to live in the safest country in America?
The video starts out very clear and then becomes a bit fuzzy visually until I raised the quality of the video from 144p.
We’ll see. Interesting case study indeed.
Believe me, the personal policy of Bukele is mantaining popularity and getting richer… no long term policy to improve education for example
any update on elsalvador cbi program by donating 1bitcoin?

Over priced? YES!

@@mad8861 indeed. Hopefully he’ll have a good succession plan in place.
No it's not.tied to BTC, it's tied to security, economic growth, and tourism
