Kent- "it's tedious but I'm sure you can figure it out"
Me with parts all over my garage - "......um..."
Another quality video sir!
Your videos are so underrated !!! Awesome video keep it up
Your a legend. Saved me some confusion countless times.💪🏻
Happy to help! Thanks for the support!
Awesome video!
thanks for the video's love it... got to get my xr rebuild
Cleaaaaan!!!
I probably would have cleaned the ports up for some smoother running nothing else. Rub the head mating surface on a level surface, Not knowing where the head came from so as just to be safe.. We all have our little quirks , Not to criticize your work. Well done.
Buen dia. Te agradecería que incluyeran subtitulos en español, tengo un xr 250 del 93. Y tus videos de la xr 250 me serian muy útiles en español
Hey I have a question I recently did my valve seals on my 83 atc 185 and those little clip things you put in when you have the spring compressed I could not get them in I did get them In it took me probably 2 hours is there a easy way to do this without them falling out when I release the tool. Thank you your videos are 👌
Do you have a spring compressor? I have seen guys put just a little grease on them so they stick to the valve.
@@WeekendAdventureRides yes I have the spring compressor so put grease one the clips so they stick?
@Fieldyfan94 yes just a little on the concave side. I also use needle nose players to position them
Did you replace the valve seats if so were did you find em?
I did not.
Ive heard countless times to replace the valve springs and keepers on mine, keepers I will let slide but springs I understand, did you replace springs on yours? And if so where did you find them for an 82?
My springs were within spec so I kept them but you can get springs and valves from kibblewhite. I had a bent valve from the timing being off and it coming in contact with the piston.
@@WeekendAdventureRides I also just realized yours likely isn’t an 82, especially if I saw an oil filter on it
Yeah its a 95
@@WeekendAdventureRides okay I have a machine shop that helped a lot in the rebuild of my dune buggy from the block up with the most absurd modifications, I know springs are something that if you have the specs can be ordered elsewhere, so I may give him a try, I will still be glued to this stream as I figured out a lot of next steps watching it
I appreciate it man. Good luck with your build!
I’m rebuilding an 84 XR 350 R and can’t seem to find the exhaust valves and I need them. When I pulled the head off I found the piston was broken. Well of course the pieces went through the exhaust and bent the valves. Any suggestions?
Interesting... kibblewhite doesn't have a valve listed... I was able to find one on ebay looks to be oem... I would start there. If you can't find what you are looking for there I would try "honda parts direct". Hope this is helpful
@@WeekendAdventureRides thank you and sorry it wasn’t related to your videos. Keep doing what your doing. I love the videos.
Is this possible without the special valve tool? Lol
It's not an expensive part. I wouldn't try to do it without a spring compressor.
@@WeekendAdventureRides thank you, I priced them after my comment. They are too cheap to not use
