I agree that while Xavia saved much of his energy, that's more so on the opponents because he so easily anticipated their moves. Another thing is can he help carry Breach to the championship match like Kyle did for Hollywood Freerunners in their past 2 events?
8is the maximum, because if u think about it, 16 chases in total. Lets assume xavia started evading at 1st chase instead of chasing, it means he spent 8 chases evading and the 9th being caught. The score will then at best be 8-7, so the 9th chase (aka the “1 being caught” chase) does not need to happen. And so the game ends at 8-0 after chase 8.
Xavia literally took the whole team out and beat them by himself. He made this look way too easy!! Epic!!!!! He is amazing!! Beast mode!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯 Cheers 🥂
Definitely would have and almost has happened in the US lol, but yeah, not enough teams for full comps every single time. This is their first match of the competition, quarter finals is also round 1. As of right now they're taking on whoever makes a good enough submission, which is dope that lots of different people get to compete, but we do end up with some underperforming teams because of that. The national comps are cool because you get to see stuff like this, then international comps cut out the less competent teams and you'll get to see how hard it actually is to get more than 1 or 2 evasions on skilled players
This was just uncompetitive. i think Xavia is revealing a real weakness with this game. If you get the other side of one of those boxes, you just have to watch your opponent move and then go the other way. A quality player is never going to be caught that way. The only way to stand a chance would be to literally chase your opponent, following their every move, and hope you are faster. If you're not faster, you have no chance.
Against a team that doesn't know how to trap evaders, yes, I totally agree. Xavia exploited their inexperience perfectly. Against a team with competent taggers, you can maybe nail a couple evasions with perfect positioning and timing but eventually you're gonna be more tired than your chaser and get tagged, which is how that balance comes into play. I think if there were 2 teams of 6 Xavias, you would see a lot of 1/2 point trades, because I think you can evade perfectly but you will inevitably exhaust yourself and a decent chaser will capitalize.
For the first time in WCT, we can now use the term "ONE SHOT a team"

Another thing is can he help carry Breach to the championship match like Kyle did for Hollywood Freerunners in their past 2 events?
8is the maximum, because if u think about it, 16 chases in total. Lets assume xavia started evading at 1st chase instead of chasing, it means he spent 8 chases evading and the 9th being caught. The score will then at best be 8-7, so the 9th chase (aka the “1 being caught” chase) does not need to happen. And so the game ends at 8-0 after chase 8.
I think 9 (or more) is possible if you include sudden death rounds
@@ori3645 that wont be in a row then, like it wont be evading 9 times straight, because there will be other matchups in between
Xavia literally took the whole team out and beat them by himself. He made this look way too easy!! Epic!!!!! He is amazing!! Beast mode!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
Cheers 🥂
No offense but is the purple team even trying? I feel they move so slow, you've got 20 seconds just F go !? The first 5 runs were just too ez
ESPN would cover this literal children's game and think they are above eSports.
E-Sports are great! Team Envy actually sponsors Envy GNF on the USA chase tag teams!
I can't believe this is a sport 😳 lol 😆
His confidence in judging distance to lean away from those lunges is insane! Real mastery in conserving energy.
How has this team made it to the quarters. Standards of this competition needs to be higher. No way this would have happened in the US
Definitely would have and almost has happened in the US lol, but yeah, not enough teams for full comps every single time.
I love how this is in 4K, great stuff guys!
If so, how come everyone doesn't do it?
Against a team that doesn't know how to trap evaders, yes, I totally agree. Xavia exploited their inexperience perfectly. Against a team with competent taggers, you can maybe nail a couple evasions with perfect positioning and timing but eventually you're gonna be more tired than your chaser and get tagged, which is how that balance comes into play. I think if there were 2 teams of 6 Xavias, you would see a lot of 1/2 point trades, because I think you can evade perfectly but you will inevitably exhaust yourself and a decent chaser will capitalize.
It may be spontaneus, AND you should look for error, make faits to cause errors...
I really like this "Athetes ready" shout.
Xavia seemed to move like APEX team members while evading
He reminds me of Mark Bowles's calmness, though it's entirely possible he has the power of APEX players too and just never wound up using it here
