- Well guys it’s going to be a sad day but even more so for John who’s been here at Barum hq for many years but out with the old in with the new!

Poor John! Let's hope he sees more than The usual 20 days of UK sunshine a year😂, otherwise it's going to be as depressing as hell in there 👍🤣😫😭
Cheers Lee, never mind fancy offices, get some money spent on the workshop. Cheers for now.
That grey paint in John's new office looks really dark. I understand the change from cream to grey, but surely you could make it a light shade of grey. Poor John. I imagine he will be permanently depressed with that dark outlook.
Nothing wrong with a bit of dungeon grey.
the window frame where sunlight shines on the paint looks a nice blue-gray,
Christ!! Those are BOLLYWOOD audio levels!!!
It's so clippy that it looks like it's trying to overcompensate for previous shortcomings.
Oh John's office! I think John would love Paisley wallpaper, flowery pub like carpet and a lovely brown leather arm chair.
Up-cycling Suggestions: Get your local signco to apply some black "carbon fibre" look vinyl, or some aluminium look vinyl, to the top of John's desk...Paint the office doors Barum Orange to brighten up the "front of house" and to provide some contrast to the dark grey.
went from quiet to distorted.
Hello, My Friends. Love your channel. As retired engineer, I have to say I'm very impressed with the improvements you have made to your business. The amazing thing is, the machinery you use, and rely on the remain accurate and do the job, are and have been since I found your channel, in complete shit order. Never cleaned down, lubricated or maintained, or in some cases even understood. Your actual machine shop needs a good tidy up and rid of all of the junk that hasn't moved in years, and a slap of paint wouldn't go a miss, just a friendly thought.
It's not about how the machines perform, it's about how they look. Same as the engines. This is primarily a TH-cam business and accurate well maintained machines aren't really important. What is important is how the business looks on TH-cam.
I know it's already been mentioned but John's office with all the electrics left as before spoils the new look it's taking my OCD to a new level 🤣🤣🤣
A bit of boxing-in could suffice to make it look better ...
💯🏴@@Jester-Riddle
A row of shallow, floor to ceiling cupboards would hide that mess, and provide space for files, ring binders and other manuals.
Please tell me you are going to box in the electrical boxes on that back wall in the office.
Colour? Looks smart. The grey tones in well with Lee's hair too.
Sorry guys hate the office colour. Cant wait to see more of the E30
Audios a touch on the loud side this time guys
WaaHaaHahahaha you funny cont
@@martyn5799 what's up divvy?
@@martyn5799 Nothing funny about it, distorted as hell. You deaf?
That rocker cover will likely never seal properly again. I would claim insurance on it and get a new one at the cost of the insurance. I would inspect the entire engine for damage as well, at the cost of the insurance. You never know what you run into and you don't want to end up with hidden damage that was not claimed at the insurance, there will be no end to the blame and possible litigation if that happens. Again, this was not your fault and you should be ensuring that the customer gets put right and the insurance should pay for all of it.
I doubt if the insurance will pay out anything as the engine wasn't correctly packaged in a fully enclosed packing case
I should be used to your clickbait thumbnails, but with this one you got me.
Yes it got me as well. Please explain
Well they are changing the colour, it's just a heading 😂😅 all the best to you all
I'd build a cupboard around that electrical intake.
6:50 for tidying up…. any chance of covering up the horendous cable/fusebox/switchboard collection??
More of an eyesore than anything in that room…..
Good Idea, Just build a box around it with a large door, or a wall of shallow cupboards along that wall, to keep all of your stuff in
You can't build engines with you all in offices . Who's going to build them the dead fekking mouse 🤣
Mouse might be better at it I think it committed suicide
Hope your going to box in the electrics and nice to see you respect that John likes creams and browns in his office!!!!!
Too loud this time Lee 🤣
Can hardly wait for the upstairs office to be done. It’ll be so interesting to overlook the shop.
Yup. You will be able to sit up there and watch John.
The piston protusion in this engine is set by a range of head gasket thicknesses. You measure, choose the right one and bingo, all done.
You quit smoking? Congratz!!! Ps audio gain is too high and your getting blowout and micro clipping. Stop pushing everything to 11 Barum LOLz.
I like what you are doing!
Please explain your thumbnail. Am I missing something or is it clickbait again
Motor building show or home decorating??????
Farewell
Poor old John it's going to be like working in a prison cell.
Black stairs will quickly look crap. A cleaner coming in once a week is a defo good move.
Option. Paint the stairs wrinkle finish gunmetal grey...it will help to hide the footprints and hand prints
Well boys your colour choice is brilliant ,well done. 👍👍
Or even FAREWELL...!!!!!
Cordialement,
Greys always look blue when going on Up-cycling the desk 😂.
As others have said, a 60 degree bank angle on a V6 is normal. In fact it's optimal for engine balance for that configuration. The Toyota 2GR-FE V6 in my Lotus Evora has a 60 degree bank angle and it's a sweet engine. The Jaguar V6 in the F Type on the other hand is in effect a 90 degree V8 with two cylinders blanked off. To optimise balance they are probably using split crankpins offset by 30 degrees for the three pairs of pistons to get the 120 degree firing interval.
Paint it pink with white poka dots...😳and video Johns face 🤣 when he sees it (probably either need first aid on standby or a straight jacket to stop him murdering you).
How do you get away with standard glass windows in an industrial park ? We always have mesh or barriers on ours. Always thought even though you have cameras, your entry area, windows and no bollard in front of the roller shutter is risky.
We couldn't get insurance unless we had weldmesh covering the windows
That grey room REALLY needs some box work cover around the electrics/communications boxes and wiring. It stands out against the dark grey and looks very untidy. A simple cover will make it look nice. I'm sure that a couple of nice bright psychedelic pictures on the wall would make John happy too ?!?
Painting someone's office the colour you like, is like your mum choosing your first car. (A NO,NO.)
Front part you have damp coming in via roof area by looks of it Leaking? As others have said box that Leccy meter etc as looks an eyesore. Myself before painted would have chopped them out and added/moved/increased Socketry/Terminals rather than later using trunking. Ceilings you can use those LED flat panels you can even put in a false ceiling kept tight to original one or just mount as they do mounting boxes for them give great light outputs without looking like a centre like with bulbs.
John likes his creams and browns, but phuk him he only has to work in it. What a lovely attitude
John likes the creams and browns cos they match his teeth! 🤣🤣🤣
How about a nice rack with different sized mole grips. Will
look neat, in it.
your aging eyes wont like the darks,, if you paint anything with oil based enamels use some Penetrol additive,, makes it stick better . We heard where people would add wood glue to water based paint to get it to stick old walls better . One thing my friend did for his book case of manuals was when sorted. he took car pin striping and went cross corner across the end so they would go back where they belong. each row of shelf had a different colour of pin stripe. worked great. To bond panels on he gets timed out (free) adhesive from a friend that fixes jets called Hysol I think and it sticks stuff real good ...
Woo hoo .. I suggested painting the machines.
Oh well, it's goodbye from me. See ya.
How to make a room 20% smaller with one tin of paint. Oh dear … no no no … Don’t give up the day job lads 😂
'Upcycling' - you're welcome! 😆
Lee, how about getting some framed photos of some of the engines you've built on the walls. Put them in the offices where potential customers can see.
Great idea, or put them in the "reception area" where they will be seen.
Its going to look smart 👍 what about dry ice blasting the machinery?
Most modern V6's have a 60 degree bank angle.
Nothing remotely "weird" about a 60 degree V6... it's the classic design for smoothness... disappointing lack of knowledge there... 90 degree V6s are nearly always derived from V8s and the VW ones are just mutated straight 6s....
@@johnmoruzzi7236 Jaguar is one manufacturer that has a V6 derived from a V8. The V6 in the F Type has a V8 block with two cylinders blanked off. Glad my Lotus Evora has a "proper" V6 with a 60 degree bank angle.
Right!!
@@johnmoruzzi7236 Early GM V6s were derived from V8s with 2 cylinders lopped off. They compensated for uneven firing by offsetting crank pins. Too many Cosworths, V engines out of their wheelhouse.
Old Maserati V6 (twin turbo)was a 90 degree one. Not derived from a V8. But an odd fire engine. More 3 90 V twins joined together.
It looks like a funeral directors office
I was thinking the same, Black Hole of Calcutta.
It's all right doing all the office , but what about machine maintenance that keeps the business working , paint doesn't make machines work better , as a past maintenance engineer regular maintenance
5:19 Don't see Gray or Blue just looks like a bloody dungeon.
Gray went out and died years ago, get with the new.
Gray can be perceived as emotionally distant or disconnected, and it's associated with morally questionable matters as well.
Bright and confident is needed like Orange.
This bright colour conveys confidence, creativity, and courage. And because of its fun nature, it works well with non-corporate brands.
Orange also produces a warm feeling since it's associated with the sun.
Suggestion" Paint one wall orange to jazz the office up and make it a happy place. The psychology of orange tells us that the color has traditionally been a symbol of optimism, happiness, enthusiasm and youthful connections. It is also considered a spiritual color and an autumnal season color. On the negative side, orange can elicit feelings of arrogance, pride, and impatience.
60 with staggered crank. Same sound as a 6 in line but less long. Troublesome because of the webbing between the journals, Alfa Busso has the same, but a lot more robust given the power levels.
Will look very smart lee
Stuff ya click bait b gone with u !!
Going to look very smart when done ..you will be charging people to come in 😂😂
So loud today 😂
The dark colors make the tool calendars really pop
That colour looks awful makes the room look small dark and dingy. I’m not as old as John but that just looks terrible.
Great plans. Do you need new batteries for your mic. 😂. Bob M. South Wales
At least it's na orange 🍊 😆 🤣 😂

What’s up with the video quality,,,, sounds iffy,, video picture’s horizontally grainy at times 📷 🎥 📸 🎤 🎤
we call that FARE WELL in the colonies
Get a chippy in to box in the electric meter and fuse boards in the office. Will look loads better.
The colour is perfect and the ideas moving forward sound brilliant

You are going to shroud the horrible stuff on the wall in John’s new office?🇳🇿
It shouldbe up to the person who uses the office what colour HE wants. It’s his eye balls gotta see it !
You seem to be getting an excess of Thumbnail hate - I had feared you were losing John. As a young 74 year old I love the grey paint in fact I have just done my entrance hall 3 walls with a similar shade and a similar grey wallpaper on the 4th. Agree with many it would be good to box in electrics as they as they stand will be a source of dust collection. Why not do the stairs orange.
I would change the lighting from fluorescent tubes to something more contemporary.
Mics are a bit hot. but great vidjao lads
To be honest that Gray looks so depressing. What's wrong with a nice white colour. It will look bright and airy.
Also you don't put your greasy hands all over the walls.
Colour looks great, if people don’t like it then that’s their issue, you have to work there, so whatever you want
Same now you're clipping the mic lol
I think the word you were looking for is 'upcycle'.
WOW Apprentice with his own office , never seen before LOL
Yes he's pretty special. 😁
Forget what the keyboard warriors think about the colour lee as long as you like it their not the ones having to sit in the office all day working, bugger them mate
John's working in it, and doesn't like it, but phuk him
Lee the Mike is far too close to your throat and voice sounds crap, tuck it under your shirt, love the content,j🙏
The expression is "farewell" not fair well.
you should put the Plants up the stairs
no one will see lol
Lee it's high time you gave some thought to expanding the business, and for christ sake get that XYZ bought they are great fun and you can do so much with it you don't realise how much until you start using them.
To be perfectly, click bait is getting old and annoying. Find myself fast forwarding to find out is its click bait or not
So was it click bait ?
Battle ship Grey.
Colour is 👍
Mate, I have some strong opinions about your decorating.... Wait, my opinion doesn't matter, nor does anybodies you yours, John's and Isaac's. Dude, it's your shop. You three are the ones that spend tons of hours there, it needs to be what works for you. If you three are comfortable with it, then you will be happier at work and therefore more productive. It's that simple.
Lee, I totally understand mental health issues, from a first hand place that I now understand more and am not afraid to talk about. Don't let keyboard commando commenters get under your skin, they don't matter in the big picture. If people have issues with our reaction to the damaged engine video, well, they may not understand that humor is a relief of pressure and stress sometimes. Plus, those of us in the business know that sometimes you just have to laugh at stupidity. Keep it up guys, I enjoy watching, (even when I'm not sure I agree.... lol) Cheers Mate

LOL mic is too hot now. 🤯
Another click bait all this channel is
I would get. A orange sofa not black
Could be me, but the sound was crap, again! sounds over boosted, and distorted, love the colour of the walls, and as you say, grubby hands will blend in
wow look at you guys... makin us Americans proud :) Its starting to look like a US engine shop :) next thing you know you guys will be putting in proper heat and AirCon. :)
I thought you were looking at a bigger unit so why are you renovating this unit throwing money into somewhere you will be leaving, doesn't make sense.
60° is std for v6
Gonna look great! Out of the 90's Fuck I miss the 90's though ha ha haaa.
