Incredible lady and an incredible driver FULL STOP! Known affectionately as "The Black Volcano" thanks to her fiery passion for driving. She always enjoyed competing on the Lombard RAC Rally - particularly in its pre-pace note days as a 'blind' rally. Quote from the Lady herself about the RAC Rally when questioned as to its lack of pace note status: "No, I like it. To be alone with your car and to never know where you are going - this I like very much!" Absolute legend!
Or maybe she understood wheel speed and car speed are not the same... especially on low traction surfaces. Shifting a lot of the time without bouncing limiter will bog in the next gear, especially in turbo cars that experience lag in-between gears.
