Hey guys and welcome to todays video where we rate the best selling and most popular azelaic acid serums.. I would love to know what your thoughts and feelings are on any of the products mentioned so please leave me a comment below.. Sending you lots of love xxxx
Super helpful video, as always!! I keep feeling like something is wrong with me because my skin is so not sensitive that I don't even feel tingles from high strength chemical peels. LoL Adding AA to my routine has made such a difference, and due to that I was just getting ready to step up from The Ordinary. Your videos have the best timing, and I'd be skin care lost without you!! *hugs and kisses* 💖
Perfect timing, my face theory is about to run out and I do love it but always up for trying new things...would be interested in your thoughts on the dermatica 20% azelaic
Hello Rob, you have convinced me! i'm going to start using the face theory azelaic acid. My question is, do you use it on the AM or the PM or in both? And i believe we should apply it after the serums and just before the moisturizer right? thank you for you videos!! :)
I wish I could use pure Azelaic Acid but the itching is unbearable! I'm glad at least I can use the derivative (Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate) with no issues. My favorite multipurpose products with P.A.D. are: - Naturium Azelaic Topical Acid 10% (includes niacinamide, vitamin C derivative, coffee seed extract, sodium hyaluronate, vitamin E) - Paula's Choice DEFENSE Antioxidant Pore Purifier (undisclosed PAD % but includes vitamin C, panthenol, salicylic acid, white tea extract, licorice extract, coffee fruit extract, ceramide NP, ginseng extract, niacinamide, coenzyme Q10, sodium hyaluronate, centella) - Geek & Gorgeous aPAD (very short ingredient list, but the most affordable) Also, Naturium recently came out with a pure Azelaic Acid Emulsion, which has a light lotion texture. I haven't been able to try it, but it includes niacinamide, oat kernel extract, lactobacillus ferment, vitamin E, and various moisturizers.
I went to your brand website and so happy to know that shipping to Singapore is available! Thanks for making it accessible for South East Asia too. I just ordered the 3 set promo - can't wait for the arrival.
I really like The Ordinary AA and don’t have any issues with it. I just make sure all other serums are completely dry before applying it. And also make sure I wait 1-2 mins afterwards before applying my moisturizer.
I'm on my second tube of The Ordinary Azelaic Acid, the first one is 30ml and the second one is 100ml. I bought the 100ml one because I also want to use it on my lower legs, elbows and knees to fade hyperpigmentation. The first one, the 30ml one smells nothing (it just 'smells' like fragrance-free cream that is fresh), no pilling but it takes some time to completely absorbs into the skin. The second one dries down so quickly and really smoothes out the skin but it SMELLS LIKE CHEAP PLASTIC that I feel really suffocated everytime I put it on my face, and the cheap plastic smell is more intense when I exhale. It also pills if I apply quite a generous amount of it so I only put a thin layer of it to avoid pilling. I don't know why Deciem reformulates the AA that way. I am scared to repurchase the third tube because I am scared that the third tube would also smell like cheap plastic.
Azelaic acid products have not worked well on my skin in the past. Since I don't deal with acne or redness, I just stopped using it. I was thrilled when I found out it is in your serum, and now I am able to add this active to my routines! I'll rate it as a MUST HAVE, as I can already see an improvement in my skin brightness!❣❣
I love how Facetheory’s Lumizela serum makes my face glow, I was on my 2nd bottle until I realized it was not fungal acne safe. I was wondering why my forehead was covered in small cluster of bumps. It’s ironic how Azelaic acid is great for fungal acne, but the vehicle/emulsifier they used is not.
Oh thats such a shame and thank you for calling this out as it will be useful for others for sure.. I hope you can find a good replacement... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Thanks for the video! Azelaic acid is my favorite ingredient. I've cycled though a few products in the battle with my rosacea. I started off with the Facetheory 15% which was too harsh for me as an azelaic acid beginner. I then tried the Natuium azelaic acid emulsion 10% and have seen a significant reduction in overall redness and the severity of my flushing. Now that my skin is more accustomed I hope to go back to the Facetheory 15% and see how it goes.
Don't forget facetheory has a 10% Azelaic acid serum as well. I have rosacea and love theirs. I use a prescription now, but started off with the Lumezelia A10 version.
I’m from the UK so I reached out to Facetheory to as why the A10 isn’t on the UK’s website. They said it’s only available to the USA . I know we have the 15% but unfortunately it’s way too strong for me starting out😩
@@monicaduncan7109 did not know that. I guess it's because 10% is the highest the US allows without a prescription, so they made it specifically for abroad. I'm sure they didn't want to lise out on that market.
I keep hearing people talk about the ordinary's Azelaic acid suspension pilling, but I've never had that problem. I realized that because it is thicker I usually mix it with something a little thinner which is why I've probably never had that problem as it allows it to spread much more easily without being so thick and pilling.. I mix it with Cerave PM moisturizer or Aveno Calm Restore oat syrum. Luck!
My favourite is the Paulas choice one as it’s gentle and doesn’t irritate my dry skin. Plus it has salicylic acid and liquorice root extract, it’s so good for the odd breakout!
Rob, I want you to know how much I am enjoying your MAS serum and moisturizer- just wonderful stuff! I see improvements in my skin texture and the hyperpigmentation appears lighter. My face feels smoother and I like the soothing quality of the products. Thanks for your guidance with all things skincare!
The Face Theory one is game changing! I use it every night and it is amazing at preventing breakouts and smoothing the skin. I’m onto my 4th bottle thanks to your recommendation!
I can’t use The Ordinary Azelaic Acid on my face because it gives me a funny taste in my mouth. I’ve looked into it and I’m not the only one. So far it’s the only one I’ve tried, but I am going back to try another from this list thanks!
Thank you for mentioning the funny mouth taste. I did not make the connection that it was the Azelaic Acid, but since I started using it, I have become a gum chewer and I have gone through double the amount of mouthwash I usually use. Now I know why.
I used your serum for the first time last night..... I LOVED IT!! The consistency was lovely, it spread beautifully, left no doubt that I wasn't just using expensive water lol. I smelt like Jelly Beans which gave me a wave of nostalgia and made it a fun experience. Can't wait to see it settle into my regular routine. Hi Rob - just a gentle correction to your information about Dr Sams Flawless Brightly Serum. It contains 10 percent, rather than five percent, Azelaic acid and other goodies (e.g. Niacinamide and Backuchiol) that partially justifies its relatively higher price point. Thanks again for your wonderful and sunny disposition and for you very helpful information. Take care.
Love azaelic acid. Paula's Choice is my go to--just enough salicylic acid in that formula to help prevent any inflammation. I've actually swapped out leave on SA from my routine since starting tretinoin. AA is just the right strength to keep breakouts/inflammation at bay.
did it purge you at first or no. I usually purge with other acids but i just finished my azaelic acid from the ordinary but i’m not sure if i should switch. I also didn’t purge with the ordinary but if i switch to paula’s choice am i going to purge?
You got me on azelaic acid and I've seen a big difference to my skin in just a month. Unfortunately I went for TO one and hate the texture. I can only use it at night (I love my make up) and with no other serums just a moisturiser. It works but it just interferes with my routine too much. Once it runs out I'm getting my hands on your MAS serum.
They only have the azelaic acid suspension (at least where I live) and I personally dislike how the texture feels on my skin. It peels, feels a bit chalky and it's hard to layer anything else with it. I've not tried the clay mask one? I've seen their salicylic acid masque which is a bit like clay. They have no serum texture azelaic acid unfortunately
My skin is not particularly sensitive, but the Face Theory serum makes my skin itch like CRAZY. I've used The Ordinary before with no issue, but I don't love the silicone texture. I have tried using the FT one after a barrier cream and while it helped a little, I was still uncomfortable. I'm bummed because I would love the benefits, but the itching is concerning.
I purely hated the Facetheory. Saw no results, hated the texture and left me oily in spite of being dry. Just goes to show how different everyone’s skin is :)
I've just got myself Azclear lotion 20% otc. It's only been a week but yes l think WOW!! Zero irritation here on my robust skin, does have a tendency to pill if you don't let it sink in (which doesnt overly phase me for the price point). Thanks for introducing me to this ingredient 😁❤
I have rosacea and wanted to like the Face theory lumizela so badly I kept using it for months. But I never was able to tolerate it, got a really bad stinging feeling, and my skin was very unhappy and red when I used it. Now that I swapped it out for the Geek and gorgeous azelaic acid, my skin feels much better and is less red. I'm not sure it's because the G&g one actually works, I'm thinking it's mostly because I'm not using the face theory one anymore.
I use Geek and Gorgeous’s APAD too. It’s an Azelaic Acid derivative and more gentle on the skin/skin-friendly. That may also be why you are tolerating jt better!!
I just bought two bottles of the facetheory lumizela in the Black Friday sale! I used your discount code too - thank you. 😊 TO azelaic acid sadly hasn’t given me any results but I’m hoping this one will. 🤞🏼 I can’t wait for it to arrive. x
@@LovelessBeloved1 Hi. Sadly not but that could just be my skin not responding to it. I contacted Facetheory who suggested I try Centasoothe instead so I’ve got that now but I’m yet to try it.
I'm going to try one form a Spanish brand that has Azelaic Acid and Tranexamic Acid, it's the Sesderma Azelac Ru Liposomal Serum. It also contains vitamin C and E, Niacinamide, and some form of retinol 🤞🏼
What is your skin type? I currently deal with dry skin, but was told by the company that it’s safe to use do you think this would be beneficial? I have dry flaky red skin and really want to fix the tone.
I love the MAS serum, game changer for me, my skin feels so balanced and I hardly get oily in the day at all, just hydrated to the gods! I do top it up with Cos De Baha Azalaic acid 10%. I’m also loving Cos De Baha Tranexamic acid 5%. Since both have Niacinamide I have been leaving out my stand alone Niacinamide and all good so far. Have you ever tried Cos De Baha? I’m happy to send you one of each if you’d like to try. Sending lots of love ❤️
Hi Jan, hope your having an amazing week... I havent been able to try anything from Cos De Baha but I have some of their products on order (they are taking so long to come lol) and I cant wait to try them :) sending you lots of love xxxxx
I really like the Naturium serum. I'm on my third bottle now I would categorize it as multipurpose as it has niacinamide and vitamin C (although probably very little).
i kinda love The Ordinary Azealic Acid Suspension. it works really well for me, probably because i don’t use make up tho. definitely gonna try the Face Theory serum next tho
Great video. Thanks so much for the facetheory discount code, with the discount it's a fantastic deal. I've read great reviews about this and most other azelaic acid products are way more expensive. I just ordered today. Thanks again.
Isn’t it great there are now so many to choose from? When I had a Rosacea flare-up 2 years ago, there was only TO & PC & that’s it. TO is effective but the texture is awful & that it combines so terribly with anything else, didn’t work for me. PC is the best one for me - works well & combines great with moisturizer! Everyone should keep in mind that Azelaic may reduce redness, but may NOT get rid of it completely. Wish I could find a dupe for the PC Azelaic, but it doesn’t exist now. All others currently on the market don’t interest me . . .
First, I Love your videos! Just recently started taking care of my skin, and you help me so much. Still a bit overwhelmed by all the ingredient names and brands. 😂 I've the Ordinary Azelaic acid, but don't like it. The texture I can deal with, since I use no makeup, but it stings so bad, and itches a lot. Use it 3 times a week now, only in the PM, but thinking about getting another Azelaic Acid, one that doesn't make me anxious to put it on my face. 😅 So this video is most welcome!
Why is the 20% one from dermatica missing from this video? :( easily available in the UK and beautiful formulation, i even switched it out with my FaceTheory one! And 1 pump provides the right amount of product so its kinda foolproof too :)
I've started on this over this last week - not seen anyone talk about it and found it by total accident googling something else. The peptide formula seems a great idea. It goes on my skin much easier than "the ordinary" and doesn't pill up with other products.
Hi Rob next to retinoids azelaic acid is my absolute favourite ingredient. I have very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin and have a fair bit of visible redness on the skin. I'm ultra sensitive and azelaic acid does lessen the redness associated with my rosacea. It also keeps my pores clear, stops any breakouts, improves skin texture and keeps my freckles looking lighter/more uniform in size. i started with the ordinary version and really didn't like the texture of it. I then went onto the Garden of Wisdom 10% followed by their derivative version which has a more pleasant texture. Geek and gorgeous Apad was my choice for a long time and I didn't find it drying within a hydrating/moisturising routine. After well over a year of using the Apad, it just wasn't giving me the results I had initially and I felt I would benefit from increasing the strength of Azelaic acid used. I did contemplate getting the face theory, but here in Scotland our prescriptions are paid for through taxation and my GP was willing to prescribe the Finnacea 15% gel/cream for me. What a difference! It is really helping my redness and texture. I don't get any irritation/prickling from the higher strength, but I think my skin had acclimated to this ingredient over the three or so years I had been using the other products. I think the face theory might be nice, but the prescription is for me not an expense and is working well. I do think starting with the derivative or a 5% is a really good idea - especially for sensitive redness prone skin. Best wishes.
I'm currently using cos de baha azelaic acid 10% and it feels so good. No irritation at all but when i woke up in the morning i found my skin texture was soooo smooth. U should give it a try
this is just the video I was needing! I want to try azelaic acid for my acne and post inflammatory erythema but I've felt so lost about which one to get
I had a feeling you would say what you did about The Ordinary Azelaic Acid. For me it works fine as a last step in my AM routine although I did find using Bare minerals loose powder after it was a mistake. It looked so bad and patchy I had to wash it off. Fortunately I only wear makeup on special occasions so I can wear The Ordinary most days and just go without it on special occasions so I'm happy with it.
I use and love the PC azelaic acid booster but I will be switching to the MAS serum once once I use up my current tube. I must say you did not disappoint with the MAS skincare set. I have been using and loving the cleanser and moisturizer for about 2 weeks now 🥰.... and was pleasantly surprised by the handwritten thank you note... so Rob! That's why we love you and MAS! ❤
Yay thank you so so much hun your comment has just put a huge smile on my face .. I am so glad you are enjoying the products and they are working so well for you.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
I LOVE Metroruboril from Isispharma - although it is not a serum but a cream - that has 15% azelaic acid (plus other ingredients like licorice root, niacinamide and centella). It’s worth giving it a try - this formula does not peel (like the one from the ordinary usually does - at least in my case).
I know your products were formulated based on your skin but just wanted to ask if they are suitable for people of color or if there are ingredients that we should avoid. Thanks for all the great videos
Hi hun, thank you so so much for watching and great question.. they are formulated with gentle actives so would be great for skin of colour.. I hope you love them if you do try them and sending you lots of love xxxxxx
So I know I'm watching this 2 yrs later, but have you come across Nineless Azelaic serum 10% with snail mucin? Interested in your thoughts. Sending love❤❤❤
Guess what?! Q+A Skincare (UK based, Drugstore and Cruelty Free) came up with Azelaic Acid Balancing Serum for £9 Not as high percentage as Lumizela but so so nice
humm I just bought TO A. acid and have no problems at all with pilling etc. it makes my skin feel soft. I dot it on like Dr. Sam showed in a video. I do have one question about A. acid cause I am getting different answers....do you put the A. acid on first then your night time moisturizer or the moisturizer first then the A. acid. Can someone please help. I have been putting it on first then moisturizer. Thanks!
I have the FT serum on my list to try next thanks to your recommendation! Currently using the Paula’s Choice but as you say it’s just a bit too pricey for me to justify repurchasing 😬
Hi Rob. I tried the facetheory and PC but they sting and irritate my skin. I just bought the Geek and gorgeous apad and no stinging so far. I want to layer it with alpha arbutin. Which one should I use before?
I bought the aPad following your recommendation and I do like it (I also had the Naturium Azelaic Acid imported from the US and it was nice too, will try their emulsion next). I have to say though that the Dr Sam product is more expensive than PC, to which I do keep returning during sales 😅 Also, I always want to try the Face Theory one but I see it has aloe and I am allergic, if only there was an option without it 😭
Great informational video. Any advice on how to import to Spain? I've tried bringing from the states through many sites but none give the option to Spain.
Weird how you posted this today as I'm struggling with Pilling from the ordinary azelaic acid after layering after my water based serums and before my moisturiser. How do you feel about the brand revolution? I bought my first retinol from them last night. I know they don't do an azelaic acid, but there seems some good products, I think ha.
Love this and love azelaic acid! I use FT Azeclear every morning and love it. However I recently bought FTs Resveratrol serum and was hoping to include that in my morning routine, but it has a v oily base so not sure whether to apply before or after Azeclear. I reached out to FT and they said not to include in the same routine and to use them on alternate mornings instead, which I think was a bit of a cop out 😂 Do you have any experience mixing these two serums in the same routine? 💕
Hi hun, thank you so so much for your support... which country do you live in as its not available in all countries directly.. if you would like to try it if you hop over to the FT UK site you can shop the Lumizela serum there and have it shipped internationally.. Hope this helps xxxxx
I’ve been using Touch bright and clear cream. It has 10% azeliac acid, 5% niacinimide 3% Konica acid and 3% transexamic acid. I get it from Amazon. How do u tell if it’s working enough?
Hi hun, this is correct (I think they do a 10% in the US market) but you can log into the UK site order it there and have it shipped to the US :) hope this helps xxxxx
@@MadAboutSkin this helps a ton. Thanks Rob. Another question when you use retinol with azaleic acid can you increase to daily or is that too much. Or can I apply azaleic acid daily in the morning and the combo of azaleic acid and retinol twice a week at night? Or is that overkill?
Im using azelaic acid from Gow and its very good but now g&g i must have because its 20% aldough they say 6% i dont understand 6 or 20..could you help me Love Ana❤💫
Hi Rob, Hi Everyone! I would have ordered from Face Theory numerous times but they are one of those companies that do a free shipping over $30 or $35 I believe. My income level and my moral code does not allow me to pay for shipping unless it is from you. :) Do you ever have coupon codes for them? Sending love and good vibes to you Rob and the lovely family you have created!!! 🧡
Paula's Choice goes into my Holy Fails. Did nothing but cause acne. Not "purging." I should've read the ingredients beforehand cuz the thing is loaded with "texture enhancers" that do nothing but clog my pores.
So interesting😍👏 Where can I find more info on your skincare products? P.s. Which Medik8 Crystal Retinal would you suggest me to try, 8 or 10? I've been using tretinoin since long time due to my acne problem, so my skin is ok with it 🙃 Thank you
I am soo team Azaleic Acid since it’s been a game changer for my rosacea. I love the FT one but have tried various ones. Have you tried the Cos de Baja 10% serum? I like that one as well. I’m using the ‘Got u covered’ in the am and FT with my retinol. I’m currently being pestered by my eldest son to visit and bring the MÁS skin set I bought for him to try lol
Yay I am so so glad you are enjoying the set hun and I hope your son enjoys it too when he gets to try it.. I have so much from Cos De Baha on order but it is taking a while to come lol.. I honestly cant wait to try them as I have heard really good things... sending you lots of love xxxx
Hello Handsome! I do think azelaic acid is tranexamic acid's BFF .. my hyperpigmentation improved a lot since I started using them together. I love that couple,😬 I looooooove the MAS Got you covered serum!!! After 2 weeks of use I can say its doing wonders to my skin... so much that although I love aPAD maybe I wont repurchase it 🤯 and I'm little surprised you find it to be a little drying... to me it felt a bit hydrating lol😂 Another proof that skincare is very individual! But I think I wont need aPAD because I have my MAS super serum! I will try the FT one... it's on my next FT order... One great video again! Love you loooooots and send you a big kiss!😘😍😘 Have a great evening!🥰
🍂🌻🍂 Thank you, thank you & thank you for doing this video. I am loving azelaic acid for my skin care. I am on my second bottle Naturium azelaic topical acid 10% plus Niacinamide & Vitamin C. Love it! Thanks again🌻

Take care.
We have a 10% azelaic acid and 10% niacinamide serum with phyto-ceramides in India and I'm really excited to try it.
Thank you so so much for sharing and I hope it works well for you... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Hey which one ?
@@artirajgarhia2952 Chemist at Play blemish control serum.
I was getting nervous that you weren't going to mention Got You Covered lol!
Love this type of videos :D
Awww thank you so so much hun... love you xxxxx
Is The Ordinary making an Azelaic Acid serum again? I thought they only had the clay mask one.
@@mariaangelashomper596 Thank You!
Damn omg I just ordered it LOL
Thank you so much for this, especially for introducing me to G&G. Absolutely love your channel :)
Hands down HG for me is Naturium AA emulsion. Its Amazing.
Where u buy
@@lzshow I'm in Australia so l buy it from Chemist Warehouse.
TO azelaic acid sadly hasn’t given me any results but I’m hoping this one will. 🤞🏼 I can’t wait for it to arrive. x
Have you seen any results with the Facetheory azelaic acid? Thinking of getting it for my acne and hyperpigmentation
@@LovelessBeloved1 Hi. Sadly not but that could just be my skin not responding to it. I contacted Facetheory who suggested I try Centasoothe instead so I’ve got that now but I’m yet to try it.
@@bindib352 Thank you 🤗
Hi Rob! I also love the azelaic acid from Revox. It's 10% concentration and an absolute holly grail for me.
I'm going to try one form a Spanish brand that has Azelaic Acid and Tranexamic Acid, it's the Sesderma Azelac Ru Liposomal Serum. It also contains vitamin C and E, Niacinamide, and some form of retinol 🤞🏼
How is that brand so far
@@ariela_ So far so good! :)
I find it funny that for me the G&G aPad Serum is the only azelaic acid serum that isn’t drying out my skin but rather gives it some extra moisture :)
What is your skin type? I currently deal with dry skin, but was told by the company that it’s safe to use do you think this would be beneficial? I have dry flaky red skin and really want to fix the tone.
@@lisagardner4814 it is extremely gentle and great for sensitive and dry skin. Just ordered my 8. bottle. HOLY GRAIL!!
All others currently on the market don’t interest me . . .
Dr Sam's Brightly serum is 10% azelaic acid, 5% niacinamide, 2% ascorbyl glucoside and 1% backuchiol
Thank you so so much for sharing and sending you so much love xxxxx
@@MadAboutSkin 😘
Thanks Rob! Would love to try MAS 🍁🍂❤️
First, I Love your videos! Just recently started taking care of my skin, and you help me so much. Still a bit overwhelmed by all the ingredient names and brands. 😂
I've the Ordinary Azelaic acid, but don't like it. The texture I can deal with, since I use no makeup, but it stings so bad, and itches a lot. Use it 3 times a week now, only in the PM, but thinking about getting another Azelaic Acid, one that doesn't make me anxious to put it on my face. 😅 So this video is most welcome!
Great content, though you've mentioned Faded before and cannot get it here in UK? Unless you know where?😳😊
Why is the 20% one from dermatica missing from this video? :( easily available in the UK and beautiful formulation, i even switched it out with my FaceTheory one! And 1 pump provides the right amount of product so its kinda foolproof too :)
I've started on this over this last week - not seen anyone talk about it and found it by total accident googling something else. The peptide formula seems a great idea. It goes on my skin much easier than "the ordinary" and doesn't pill up with other products.
Dr. Sam's brightly is amazing. My super sensitive skin tolerates it well.
Such a super ingredient! Use your serum alternately with FT 😊
Can you plz review cos de baha brand plz
Hi hun, I have some of their products on order so there will be a review coming in the next couple of months... sending you lots of love xxxxx
I'm currently using cos de baha azelaic acid 10% and it feels so good. No irritation at all but when i woke up in the morning i found my skin texture was soooo smooth. U should give it a try
this is just the video I was needing! I want to try azelaic acid for my acne and post inflammatory erythema but I've felt so lost about which one to get
I purchased the ordinary’s azelaic acid 3 times and it broke me out every single time.
Oh I am so sorry to hear that and I hope one of the other options will work better for you.. love x
@@MadAboutSkin yeah the apad works well but the silicones in the ordinary breaks me out terribly
Right now I really like FT 10%, I used both of the Naturium ones and them both made my skin itch, my skin wasn’t sensitive it just itched
Unfortunately azeliac acid products seem to be controlled here and PC doesn't sell theirs directly. Might eventually try to import 1 if I can find it.
TO is my holy grail, I have no problem at all with it ❤️
Thank you so so much for sharing and sending you so much love xxxxx
I use the one from La Roche Posay and absolutely love it. It’s a bit expensive i mu country so I’m looking to find a comparable one for less.
I hate TO’s azelaic acid product. I use 20% prescription azelaic acid. I prefer to use prescription strength actives where I can.
Thank you so so much for sharing hun and I found the 20% to be a little strong for my skin but I am so glad its working for you xxxxx
So I know I'm watching this 2 yrs later, but have you come across Nineless Azelaic serum 10% with snail mucin? Interested in your thoughts. Sending love❤❤❤
Guess what?! Q+A Skincare (UK based, Drugstore and Cruelty Free) came up with Azelaic Acid Balancing Serum for £9 Not as high percentage as Lumizela but so so nice
its good that you promote cruelty free products ;)
humm I just bought TO A. acid and have no problems at all with pilling etc. it makes my skin feel soft. I dot it on like Dr. Sam showed in a video. I do have one question about A. acid cause I am getting different answers....do you put the A. acid on first then your night time moisturizer or the moisturizer first then the A. acid. Can someone please help. I have been putting it on first then moisturizer. Thanks!
Both is possible, depends on how sensitive your skin is. But the on from TO is supposed to be applied before moisturizer.
@@misss7777 thank you yes the tube says that but people where saying TO website is saying both so I just want to make sure I am doing it right.
have you tried the revox just azelaic acid 10%? I love that one and I don´t have any problems with the texture or anything lika that.
I have the FT serum on my list to try next thanks to your recommendation! Currently using the Paula’s Choice but as you say it’s just a bit too pricey for me to justify repurchasing 😬
I hope you love it as much as I do hun ... sending you lots of love xxxxx
how do you like the FT one compared to the Paula’s Choice one?
You forgot Dermatica's 20% azelaic acid!!
Hi Rob. I tried the facetheory and PC but they sting and irritate my skin. I just bought the Geek and gorgeous apad and no stinging so far. I want to layer it with alpha arbutin. Which one should I use before?
Hi hun, I hope the geek and gorgeous works well for you and I would recommend using the arbutin first then I would use the apad... love you xxxx
I bought the aPad following your recommendation and I do like it (I also had the Naturium Azelaic Acid imported from the US and it was nice too, will try their emulsion next). I have to say though that the Dr Sam product is more expensive than PC, to which I do keep returning during sales 😅
Also, I always want to try the Face Theory one but I see it has aloe and I am allergic, if only there was an option without it 😭
Great informational video. Any advice on how to import to Spain? I've tried bringing from the states through many sites but none give the option to Spain.
I am using the Face Theory Lumizela Azelaic Acid and am wondering if it is best to apply this to damp or dry skin?
Please tell me, what will be the best for Post Inflammatory Erythema (red stains)?
Question: I've heard nothing in the skincare universe about the brand Niche Beauty. They have an azelaic acid serum that looks good , but is it?
Weird how you posted this today as I'm struggling with Pilling from the ordinary azelaic acid after layering after my water based serums and before my moisturiser. How do you feel about the brand revolution? I bought my first retinol from them last night. I know they don't do an azelaic acid, but there seems some good products, I think ha.

I reached out to FT and they said not to include in the same routine and to use them on alternate mornings instead, which I think was a bit of a cop out 😂 Do you have any experience mixing these two serums in the same routine? 💕
