      That was too funny

    • @SteveGellerMusic
      @SteveGellerMusic 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Max weirdly separates these categories (greatest vs. best), so "BOAT" actually means something to him. He has long thought that Brady was the "greatest" because of his hardware, but that Rodgers was a better QB in terms of talent. In this take, he says that Brady is actually "better," since he can make the right decisions, and this is more important. Ironically, Brady's 2nd half was a bit of a hot mess, and there are at least 50 examples of how Brady has out-thought his opposing QB down the stretch, but this wasn't really one of them.

    • @rachelkessinger2295
      @rachelkessinger2295 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was the only wrong part of his rant. Brady is NOT the boat. He's not even the best QB of all time let alone the best player of all time

      It's rigged for him to be goat. It's so obvious.

    • @SteveGellerMusic
      @SteveGellerMusic 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Righteous1ist Please explain. Why would the league "rig" this? Most of the country has been tired of Brady for a decade. Why wouldn't the league have moved onto someone else by now? Why does he need to keep winning in a rigged show? He has been universally considered the GOAT since 2016--what further use could there be in rigging anything? Why prop up Tampa, FL, which is not even a major market, if they wanted to "rig" something for Brady? Why not put him in Chicago or LA? Why make him lose to the Eagles, if it's all "rigged"--why give him such terrible receivers last season?
      Nope. He's just that good, and also very lucky, and luck is a big part of sports. And Rodgers and Brees have failed again and again in clutch moments, way before Brady got to the NFC. They're all-time great QB's, but they're stat-padders. They come up small in clutch situations, as did Marino and McNabb.

      @@casualfandestroyer2503 I'd agree, but sadly i've never had the pleasure of watching Russell play, the same goes for Jordan. It's hard to look at stats and make a decision on the greatest...That's why athletes and fans from different Era's have different opinions. Generally, you'll notice people have different opinions based on who they actually witnessed play in person or on live TV. I'm a Celtics fan, but i cannot admit that Bill is the greatest American athlete, i'd be lying as i never witnessed him play live.

    Rodgers gets 3 turnovers: 6 pts
    There's your difference. Brady did what he did last week: kick the opponent in the gut every time they made a mistake. That's how you win playoff games. He was *dominant* in the first half and the beg of the 2nd. Defense clamped down allowing him to take more risks downfield that became functional punts. He doesn't care about his numbers, he just wants, and usually gets, the letters. W

I think some complacency and pride got in the way of realizing that "I'm good" because HE'S good. Final thought TB12 spread the lessons and teachings of Belichick to his new team, as an experienced professional should, his new team was smart enough to listen.
