What a majestic beauty this yacht is. The straight up bow cleaving the smooth water and sending that water up along the side. What a sight to behold. The small forward facing seat right behind the bow is where I'd be seated.
Boats like this make me realise I have a long way to go. Just wonderful. I dream of being a person that would actually commute in a boat like that. Thank you for sharing
A bargain at that price compared to replacement cost. Of course maintenance will be substantial, but anyone buying this knows that. What a gorgeous boat and so clean through the water. For what it is, absolute perfection.
What a way to commute to the office. Same here in the 🇫🇴🇬🇧 wealthy industrialists had home in the Lake District and had smaller commuter launches to travel to the rail terminals to get to the office in cities. The river Thames had popular 'slipper' lauches to commute on from the leafy suburbs to the City. Google slipper launch to see the style.
I owned the GYPSY in Seattle, WA a 48' Shain Trimmership that is now on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. So appreciation of exceptional boats is in my blood. This is such a fine craft it's hard for the general public to realize just how much effort--both monetary and elbow grease--is represented here!
Don't think I've ever seen anything so beautiful, cuts through the water effortlessly. Would look better with her original white hull, otherwise is perfect in every way. Consolidated on City Island, NY built several commuter yachts in the late 1920's and 30's. From the deck up they were usually all teak. I've seen her by her original name "Jem" one year at Mystic Seaport Museum boat show, Mystic, CT. Would enjoy reading more details, what powers her? Location, list price?
ad un certo punto della nostra storia qualcosa è andato storto… ci siamo dimenticati di quanto bellezza avevamo e le cose sono peggiorate. barca stupenda.❤
That's basically a very long lobster boat. It's designed to plane along the surface of the water. She almost certainly has a shallow draft. It's absolutely stunning!! 😍 I wouldn't change anything, not even the twin beds in the master. She would be right at home in Maine.
@narragansett she sure would! That is one of the most naturally photogenic vessels I've seen. I live next to a harbor that is full of beautiful schooners and sloops. She would stand out even there. Also, the way she moves in the water is mesmerizing, You can't take your eyes off her. I'm not jealous, but I am!
So, in 1930, after the crash, companies still had a large enough market to build these kind of craft for customers who needed to come back to the city a few times a week? Interesting.
They may build bigger yachts today, but they won’t build anything as beautiful as this classic ship. She’s perfect.
Absolute neck breaker 👀👀
From a 78 year old sailor*******the most beautiful boat I have ever seen ! Slicing through the water like nobody's business !!
True elegance and beauty.
the film is sped up.
@@bruce-n6w this was shot in real time, she was cruising along at 26kts in the video, her actual cruising speed.

Most beautiful ship I have ever seen!
Pleased to see that this elegant beauty is so we'll preserved.
This is not a boat or a yacht. It is a dream come to life. Somethings just look right. This looks perfect.
A Masterpiece of artwork and engineering in a functional design with modern amenities , F**KING AWESOME
Reminds me of a boat from the old movies it's so beautiful
Would be great to have in any movie!
Not into motor boats at all, but for this ... I would sell my soul. Exquisitely beautiful
That is the most beautiful boat I’ve ever seen. Wow. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks for watching. A true classic in action.
Google motor yacht Marie 😊👍
But agree stunning example of a classic
Just a gorgeous classic masterpiece. That’s really beautiful to watch cutting through the water. The craftsmanship in that boat is awesome.👍👍

Beautiful! Elegant!❤
Watching Her bow carve through the water is amazing. Lovely. Twin 825 hp C13s push Her @ 30+ kts....
So awesome, right?! What a beauty.
All the prettiest ones seem to bop in and around Narragansett. Reminds me of APHRODITE.
@@Snipe_Alley the Ocean State is the best!
Superb, magnificent vintage boat.
It looks so free and happy!😊
@@fv1291 🔥🔥🔥
Just in awe. From the 30’s. What a classic, graceful, swift beauty she is.
Classic never has to make a comeback. They don't make them like they used to!!!
@@narragansett , they ARE timeless! Agreed! And they certainly don’t. She is in a class all by herself.
@@ItsMeHello555 Couldn't agree with you more!
Just watching a beautiful boat sailing through the water and seeing inside and out with no words is all that’s needed.
Haha so peaceful, right?

Thanks for watching. What a beautiful aspiration.
commute implies work.
Vastly cooler than a generic megayacht.
Couldn't agree more!
Fantastic yacht, perfect color scheme and varnish.
STUNNING!
truly!
She glides so beautifly
Mesmerizing....
Now that's a boat...
You can say that again!
Now that is elegance , as long as somebody else can pay for the maintenance !
Such elegance!
Wow! I’m in love.

Very cool boat. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful work of art on the water.

@@narragansett Thanks. Kind of like a J Boat, with 1650 HP. Love it.
Exquisite

A boat this narrow is probably going to be rocking and rolling in even moderate waves.
Yep. This is it
Most of modern boats are not so beautiful and elegant...
I find modern boats to be mainly as “ ugly as sin “lol maybe I’m just jealous 😂
Magnifique !
Yes, indeed!
Hermoso.
Si!!
much prefer the quality craftmanship of these older gals than the Las Vegasy looking stuff being made today.
This is such a beautiful classic!
A lot of Yachts today look like cheap motorhomes with monster price tags.
You would be hard-pressed to find a more elegant vessel

The boat has been repowered with twin, 825 hp each, IVECO Model: C13, diesels
Very nice boat, but there's some caulk or paint splatters around the toilet, and some areas of yellowing on some of the older surfaces.

Gorgeous boat. Available for $1.5 million, would probably cost quadruple that to replicate today - if you could find qualified builders.
Such a great opportunity for a lucky buyer.
The dumbest place to be on a boat is up near the bow, after one minute you want to get out of there in a hurry, you feel very vulnerable.
But how are you going to get it to me here in Phnom Penh?
man come one not a single view of the engine room ?
Classic yachts are obviously beautiful... but they just look slightly too narrow.
Why is the video sped up?
This is not sped up at all. The speed alteration happens at 0:19 - 0:20, when speed ramped coming off the land to the yacht cruising on the water.
Beautiful boat, wish I had 1.5 mil lying around.
Such an amazing opportunity for someone who does. It would do the same if I had the $1.5M ready!!
😍🤩🥰👍👍👍
