OMG you're back! Was actually just thinking about your videos yesterday Seasons 1-4 really were a work of art. I remember me and the fiancé once watched through the first few seasons on amazon and we completely lost it 🤣 Great video! I didn't even know that stuff about the music on the show (though in hindsight, it makes sense that The Beach Boys served some kind of inspo. I don't really listen to them, so I didn't know 😅)
This was a fun watch. I never knew about the creator's marine biology background and its very cool to learn that he was inspired by real life and knowledge. As a kid, I thought Spongebob was so stupid. My older brother watched it and was obsessed with it so being the little sister not allowed to steal the remote, the compromise was watching it with him. To this day, I most vividly remember the episode where Gary runs away, when Spongebob gets stuck unable to catch the bus, the episode where they learn curse words, the first move, and Patchy the Pirate in general. Other random dialogue and songs are stuck in my head as well. I definitely agree that the internet wasn't why it was popular. I watched it on our Dish cable and I didn't start seeing Spongebob memes until I was in high school. Rather it played so often and from morning to night, there was no way to avoid the yellow sponge. I will still watch Spongebob if it comes on today and I definitely enjoy it so much more as an adult.

I've never seen your channel and your video is very young, so I actually have a chance to be read by you: It would be so cool if you made a Stephen Hillenburg's life/professional documentary, you clearly have the style and competence to do so, and I think it will become an anchor for your channel I hope you'll consider the idea. I'd really love to watch a 40,50 or even longer than that video about the topic. Always prise the long-format content
