  • Used the Ninja Foodi 8 Qt. Deluxe today to make this beef eye round roast. I made a rump roast in the Ninja Foodi Grill-although it was a smaller roast-same temperature. So you are able to do tin either appliance. When I can get another roast I will do a video in the Ninja Foodi Grill.
Attempted to use the Meater. thermometer-still. have to figure it out but I will. Any suggestions would be much appreciated-thanks!
I used. this eye round roast to make roast beef sandwiches-I find you have to slice the beef very thin. If you slice it thicker it will be a little tough.
For fun I left in a few bloopers and one at the end-lol.

Get a pigtail food flipper hook to handle meet in the Foodi, on the grill, in the frying pan, or in the oven too. It will make your life easier flipping meats that are not too heavy, veggies, etc as long as it is solid. Pigtail hooks don't work well with ground meats or if it tends to fall apart too easily like fish. I bought an 18' four-pack from Amazon for less than $18. I have them stashed wherever I cook.

I wasn't going to put the video out but I. said this is real. life where things go wrong-gotta have that back up plan.
My father likes his beef very rare. When I grill him a steak-have to have a super hot grill (outside) 1-2 minutes each side and its done for him. I like mine medium rare so a few more minutes.

Pressure Crisp You’re so right! Dare I say that the end of the video was “good medicine”?!?!? 😂🤣🥰 it’s very hard to beat a good roast beef with leftovers! I cooked a sirloin tip roast with potatoes, carrots, and onions for Easter Sunday dinner in my Ninja Foodi. I warmed up the leftovers by Pot-in-Pot method Monday, and finished the last if it tonight with open-faced sandwiches! I love my NF and love following your recipes. You’re help make it easy! Thank you!! Take care and y’all continue to stay safe and well!! With laughter and God both in our hearts, and the strength we draw by lifting each other up, we will make it through this!!! ♥️🙏🥰🙋🏻‍♀️

@@janisbillyluttrell9573 Your Easter dinner sounds delicious! Yeah I just wanted to make people laugh-and yes we will get through this and prevail! I pray that people are and will be understanding and kind to one another during these trying times-it's hard as everyone including myself are worried, scared-we just don't know hat is going to happen. I also pray that people use this time to better themselves-learning, praying, meditating just anything to take. their minds off of what is going on. Think. I have watched every. video on TH-cam on the Spanish flu of 1918 and 1930's depression videos. And remember my grandmothers stories from the depression and WW2 her stories were very educational and glad that she shared them. I wish she was here now to teach us and to hear her words that everything will be ok.

Pressure Crisp Pressure Crisp I know you’re probably getting tired of me, but I wanted to share something with you since you mentioned the depression era. You would really enjoy the TH-cam channel called Great Depression Cooking. Clara’s grandson began filming her when she was 91 or 92 up until she was 96, I think. She shares recipes that her mother cooked along with sage wisdom from those bleak times. But she always makes sure to say that even though it was hard in those days, her family ate well and they were happy. They had a garden and her mother was creative...you really need to check her out. Try to start at the beginning...that’s where she begins the stories. They are marvelous videos. Yes! I remember my Grandmama and my Mama teaching us recipes, shortcuts, and creative meals that I still use today. Simple, but yummy!!! ✝️🙏💖🙋🏻‍♀️
