Your father is something else. Not only can he feed chickens, cows hogs and horses. He plants and picks. And now he is a master pie maker. Wow what else can he do????
Wow, Callie already knows how to say good bye! She's so smart and amazing and growing to be a beautiful farm princess. Love watching her videos because she keeps growing and changing day by day. The tomato and corn harvest were awesome, and I wish we could order straight to the stores here. Yesterday I walked into the stores and many of the veggie shelves were already empty except for head cabbage, then I was just thinking of your family farms teeming with lots of vegetables that seem to never stop giving. I use to work as a baker when we made pumpkin pies we would mix them up in a 5gal.bucket and using a wire whisk to mix together. Also we would mix it ahead.
Grammy has that crust edging down pat.

The bake goods were amazing as always. The horse radish has a real good kick this year. Did you ever think of growing your own?
I think Andrew said they like the supply they get from another farm bc the horseradish is smoother and without too many knots/knobs which make it difficult to peel.

As a grandmother I'd love to see a Day with Grammy. I think this woman is amazing and would love to see a time laps of her Christmas preparations. A time laps of Grandpa's aka, The Boss's day would be awesome also, from making his list to finding his pants.

I canned white potatoes this year. To remove the peels I used the spiral slicer without the coring feature. What a labor saver. Great video.
You've got all those apple peels and cores. You should save them to make some apple cider for the store, or the family.

When I make apple pies, I put the flour, sugar, and spices in a gallon bag, along with the sliced apples, shake a couple of times, turn it over a couple of times, pour it into the shell, and I don’t have as many dishes, plus it saves on tired hands. Also saves time!
I think Grammy and her pies need some tee shirt merchandise. I'd buy one.

I Make pumpkin pie canned organic pumpkin, brown sugar and just enough evap milk to make filling thick runny, spices, eggs, sprinkle a little raw organic sugar on top. Bake at 400 for 15, 350 for 45 minutes. Nicely browned, crust nor burned.
