Good day for a new veggie boy video. I had to put brakes on my truck today and now I'm hunting and tired. I found out Wednesday that I have cancer in my prostate. I kept wondering why I was having so much pain and now I know. DOC said they have caught it early and they can treat it fairly easy so I hope so. I was really depressed until I saw this new video and it has brighten up my day. Thanks Andrew
Lord Jesus Christ, we beg Thee for the grace to remain guarded beneath the protective mantle of Mary, surrounded by the holy briar from which was taken the Holy Crown of Thorns, and saturated with Thy Precious Blood in the power of the Holy Spirit, with our Guardian Angels, for the greater glory of the Father. Amen.
If they catch it early, the prognosis is good anymore. Actively work, and push if needed, to get the appointments as soon as possible. May your journey be smooth as can be.
Hey Andrew, about a quarter of the way through your video you showed us a scene that took our breath away which showed green pastures and blue skies with puffy clouds! OMG, that was beautiful! Cheers!
Today was a good garden day for me. I put a fall planting of Zucchini, cucumbers and lettuce in. An old market garden said plant Zucchini and cucumbers the end of July early August because in the spring everyone has them in the fall nobody has them but everyone wants them.
You win the beard contest, not that there was one, but yours looks fantastic! Love watching y'all picking sweet corn and eating it raw in the fields. One thing about being a farmer, you eat really well!!! A video of Grammy making pies would be great as the other commenter suggested!
Andrew are you aware of some channels on TH-cam saying some terrible stuff. You and your family work so hard, I wish there was something that could be done, to take those channels down. Keep you the great work. If I could make 2 requests, more Grammy, and could you show the t-shirts you have available. Take Care. Will keep watching for more adventures on the farm & shop. Your children are adorable.
I laugh at how you dislike picking peas When I was a kid on the farm growing up green beans was my nemesis The leaves made my arms break out in big welts so I always had to pick in a long sleeve shirt, that sucked big-time ! The good old days, now that I’m seventy-five and looking back on it. I thoroughly enjoy the channel and you have a wonderful family and you realize it which is good
I bet you can remember when we had to detassle corn. Farmers would put ads in the local paper for detassling time. One year, at my Grandpa's farm, he hired high school kids to detassle, when I was a teenager. These "city kids" showed up in dinky shorts and tank tops. They were hoping to make some money and get a great tan. Needless to say, they got all cut, scratched, welts, buggy, sticky, and itchy. They were miserable. 1 quit at lunch time. The next day, only one kid came back (out of 10). This time, he wore jeans and a button, long-sleeved shirt, and a hat. Oh, those were the days. They were tough sometimes, but I miss them, and my Grandpa, too.
Hi, I once saw a pair of gold finches pluck petals from my zinna flowers to find their seeds, it looks odd with centers on stalks and petals scattered around 😮
God Bless Farmers. Your videos are so inspiring and educational. Most people don’t realize the stress of farming and what it takes for you to produce food. Beautiful produce!
We always had what Dad called "garden dinners" in the Summer. There were green beans, green and red tomatoes, fried squash, new potatoes, peppers, cucumbers in vinegar, watermelon and cantaloupe. It would be fantastic to see Grammy (and others) make a dinner like that and all of you enjoying it.
Our first planting of sweet corn, 7 rows about 50’ long was ruined by raccoons. We put the trail cam up and saw a family of 6 visit in one night. They were trapped and moved only to see that many more the next night. After several nights they were trapped and taken to the State Park about 25 miles away. All together 14 are living the good life now and our second planting has been raccoon free.
You guys had a very busy full day!! You definitely deserved the watermelon break that sure looked delicious. All the bear, skunk and raccoon damage is sure disappointing. It sure was nice that Lauren had a special enchiladas dinner for the family to finish a very full day!
The bear damage is substantial. I know Maryland has a program to reimburse farmers for crop damage. from bears. I hope Pennsylvania has something similar. Love your content!
Hi Andrew, Missed you today at the market. Mom, Dad and Daniel took great care of us. You were right about eating your fresh yellow corn raw it’s the best sweetest corn I’ve had. See you next month.
Enjoy the videos very much. What are the varieties of corn you are growing? Please tell us the variety when you are pulling it. Curious to see if you grow any of the older varieties, like Silver Queen, Tuckers Favorite, or peaches and cream. Thanks Faye
What a big egg! Are those chickens in summer quarters? I am glad you got that big order of straw to sell. It is good to see you enjoy a water melon in the field.
Great video Andrew it’s bad loosing your crops to animals but like you said it could be worse. Are y’all not able to get sawdust anymore? I haven’t saw y’all go after any in a while. Thanks for sharing with us. I loved hearing the peppers pop off the plants.
The Veggie Boys is one of my favorite shows. I always get a huge smile and stop what I'm doing when I hear that my husband has selected it to be played. I have a question. I haven't seen anything about potatoes this year??? Y'all Rock. Deb from Houston, Texas!
You have convinced me to start more pickles. Hey, Andrew, can we get Pop-pop to teach us how to make Red Beet kraut? I need to make some, and could use a guide. Thanks. 😃😃
Always love your videos. Thanks for sharing. I guess that's an issue in the fields with all kinds of creatures. Have you had that problem every year? This sounds dumb, but I wonder if the chickens get upset when you're taking their eggs? 😮
I always hated straw. The guy I picked for used a wire tie nailer. The bales were always over 100 lbs and baked so tight we had to use hooks. Ya couldn't get fingers under the wire. And straw would poke right through my Jean's. I'd even wear a pair of cut-off under my jean's.
Thumbs up if you would like to see a video of Grammy making pies?
And a reciepe book/food vlog please
She’s been sharing her recipes with Daniel & Sadie & they’ve been making them on their channel
Daniel and Katie have a channel where they bake/cook Grammy's recipes. Check it out. They are a sweet couple!

God will be walking with you through your cancer journey if you let Him. He is true! 😊

Are you allowed to hunt bear?
Good news that you caught it early …..and….. they have made lots of good progress in prostate cancer treatments. God bless
What are you hunting?
Nice to see Petey back with you guys
GOD BLESS THE FARMERS AND RANCHERS AND FISHMAN, TRUCKERS ❤
I like to eat, dido.
I LOVE SWEET CORN AND BUTTER 👍
I’m glad you have a good relationship with your neighbors. It says a lot about you all
I’ve never met a bad farmer 👩🌾 we all stick together!
The chicken really enjoys the greens,I love the eggs collection and grading.
Me too. Having a flock of chickens, feeding them scraps of vegetables every day and collecting their eggs really gets me going.

Lauren should show us how she makes Grandpa’s enchiladas, I for one would be very interested because I’ve never made enchiladas 😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️

I like it when you put greens in with the chickens, and I'm sure they like it even better.
Thank you for sharing!
It is so sweet to watch Callie play and grow
She is also the reason I love watching these happy farm videos.

Do you ever run in to bears while you're picking veggies?
Very rarely
Loading straw...so much work! Either loading a trailer or in a loft.
You're so nice to bring the chickens a handful of fresh grass every time you collect eggs. They know you care

You guys are fabulous and supper looks yummy. I am with pop pop delicious. So glad you have family over. ❤❤❤❤❤
I love hearing the snap when you pick peppers!
I'm happy to see you starting to fill wagons with produce.
Gee. my favorite sound in your gardens is the picking of peppers, all kinds. I just love that sound.
God Bless Farmers. Your videos are so inspiring and educational. Most people don’t realize the stress of farming and what it takes for you to produce food. Beautiful produce!

An electric fence is the only thing that works for me.

Wow! You really keep busy! 😊
God bless your harvest and all who get to enjoy it
Corn is looking beautiful.
I know it’s hard work, but what a life you have. Great family, great farm, awesome videos. Thanks for sharing.

The animals are hungry to. I love bears! You must have good corn 😅
Good job. Happy to see Petey😊😊😊
Something about Petey's intro, he just always makes me laugh!
Our farmers have electric fences around the corn fields, our thieves are wild boars but they also cause immense damage here in Germany

is there any company is PA that will come and setup a live trap for the Bear and relocate them?
I love that sound!

Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Nice farming video🌷🌷
Neither loading nor unloading, but a transfer.
I wish i can visit your farm one day. Say hi to Callie
What a big egg! Are those chickens in summer quarters? I am glad you got that big order of straw to sell. It is good to see you enjoy a water melon in the field.
Great video!
Set up a trail cam. We want to see the wildlife too.😮
9:00 before and after...Tim Wells and others for management. Might even get some protein. You are doing a great job!

When you are done with the pickling cucumbers can we see how you clean up those rows and the black mulch? That would be interesting
Put a battery operated radio out in your field at night
What was the green you gave the chickens? Good luck with the critter trouble!🐾😎
Ouch on big egg. Wow! Big job loading that semi.
I hope you all took a break in between wagons and lots of water. That is back breaking work.
Awesome video! Pepper season has started......YYYYAAAAYYYY!!! They look so good. So does the Zucchini. My goodness.
See you in the next one.
That bear is probably looking for the Charmin!
Looks like it’s time for a critter harvest. I don’t know the laws in that state, but here we get to clean them up. Happy hunting!
The bears are rough on our field corn in southern KY. They tear down areas as big as a house. Lay around and eat corn and poop.
Bless y'all.
Looks like you have a family of bears picnicking on your corn. Or a Momma and cubs.
Beautiful fryers !
Waving a hand from texas
Your conservation department can put out live bear traps and move them.
Really enjoyed watching 👍👍
The Veggie Boys is one of my favorite shows. I always get a huge smile and stop what I'm doing when I hear that my husband has selected it to be played. I have a question. I haven't seen anything about potatoes this year??? Y'all Rock. Deb from Houston, Texas!
The last video featured potatoes, too early to pick but they pulled a few plants to show the progress.
❤ This coastal Alabama gal wants to know Andrew.. are the "cuke" plants sound super dry, or is the "dry" sound the plastic mulch sheet? Just curious 😊
I know you are all deer hunters but I think this winter I would have a new bear rug😂😂
Those rows are pretty wide?? Try growing some fennel next yr and rubarb too!!
Well done.
Peedy is back!
