Great video, this is better than the underwater footage Korda do in their carp shows, impressive considering how easy stocked carp are to catch, budget and the fact that you’re doing this in flowing water.

Great video you should test hook baits and rigs see whats best underwater which 1 gives more hook ups we can all learn from it and catch more Barbel :)
Steven Cartwright looking at the barbel id say a big wide gape hook with pop up bait probably, same as carp. I bet a pva would work well im gonna try one next time I'm on a river, liquidised bread maybe

Ha ha... little fish ,roach and stuff dart off, i wondered why then the pike belly comes into shot....and the barbel just swim under it ignoring it...awesome for the first 2 minutes.... gonna watch the rest now....
