    😅Here is a behind the scenes fun-fact: I guess that video is not the best to judge the quality of my skin… It was a sunny, hot day here in Spain and I had to turn off the aircon and ventilator when I filmed this. So as the room gets hotter and hotter, I get more and more red and puffier and sweatier during the video… 😂 But, it is what it is… 🤷‍♀

    We have the Dove Beauty Bar in the U.S. Another great option is Cerave Hydrating Bar, bar soap that moisturizes. Beauty of Joseon makes a solid sunscreen stick that is great on face and around the eyes.

    My beauty tip is to drink plenty of water for clear skin - but I am male 😂

    I use the Dove beauty bar - great non-liquid option. I find the scent a little much so I use the Dove sensitive skin unscented bar. Doesn't conflict with other scents I may be wearing.

    • @MaggiFuchs
      @MaggiFuchs  วันที่ผ่านมา

      I saw online that there are different options of the bar, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find it here yet. But I will definitely get one when I come across it. I think if I had the choice, I would also prefer the unscented bar. :)

    Brennt die Dove Beauty Bar in den Augen? Ein Grund, warum ich immer noch mein flüssiges Waschgel abfülle, ist, dass es so mild ist, dass ich es auch als Augen-Makeup-Entferner nutzen kann (für wasserlösliche Mascara), aber ein fester Ersatz, der ebenfalls als ein 2-in-1 Produkt dient, wäre wirklich großartig.

      Nein, bis jetzt ist es mir nicht irgendwie negativ aufgefallen. Ich benutze es auch, um meinen wasserlöslichen Mascara abzuwaschen und hab bisher kein Brennen bemerkt. Ich hab aber die Augen noch nicht unabsichtlich aufgemacht - also keine Ahnung, wie es dann aussieht… 😅

    I use the G&G Retinal A-Game 10- love it! After you use a couple of bottles of 5 try the 10!

    • @MaggiFuchs
      @MaggiFuchs  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I was thinking about that. :) Just out of curiosity: I read that the 10 doesn’t absorb as nicely into the skin as the 5 - is this something that you noticed as well?

    • @LisaNix2
      @LisaNix2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@MaggiFuchs I don’t remember this but it was a couple of years since I started using the 10. The 10 is twice as strong as the 5 which is more helpful for our skin. ☺️ since I also only use it at night that is not so important to me either. The 10 absorbers ok for me☺️

    To get sunscreen to not get in your eyes you can set it with a bit of face powder (or if super pale even baby powder/cornstarch).

    • @MaggiFuchs
      @MaggiFuchs  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely try that. How exactly do you apply it? First sunscreen and then the powder on top? 🤔

    I admit I am somewhat haphazard & lazy with my skin care. I have «young skin» for 55, but it is catching up to me now. I notice changes. So I learned quite a bit about consistency from you. I like the Dove bars & I just learned I may be able to buy them here at a Meny store 🤞🏻. I usually use Cerave, the green one, and then I use avocado oil on face & body. And that’s it. Soap in the shower tho in the evening and then avocado oil. I was using a sunscreen more consistently this summer, also 50 spf & I should add that back in. Sometimes I try different moisturizers, but I always go back to an oil. I feel like it absorbs & also usually I grow calendula - so I make my own face oil with calendula. Most years - not this one! I have never tried a facial peel or rather… I think I did, long ago. Origins made one & it smelled like apricots - but I am not sure it exists anymore. I do have some rosacea so sometimes I have to use a cream my dermatologist gave me - but one tube has lasted me ummm too long! I do not usually wear makeup - but I noticed my dark circles more after 53/4 and so sometimes I use a little coverup. But again - very little. I squeezed some into a contact container and it lasted all 11 weeks when I was away taking care of my mother. So 🤷🏼‍♀️☺️😂 …. that said, I may need to test out your method! I would like to age «gracefully» so it is worth being a little careful.

      I was thinking of trying to use oil again in the winter as a moisturizer. When it’s cold, I don’t like the water-based stuff to much. Makes my face freeze… 😂 And from my limited understanding, a cream is just an oil-base and a water-base whipped together… It’s so cool that you make your own with Calendula. I see no reason why some chemical compound bought in a store should be any better than that - and as long as it works for your skin, it’s perfect imho.

      I don’t know anything about you or your situation, so I hope this doesn’t come across as condenscending or something. It’s just a friendly suggestion of someone who was in a similar situation. :) But have you ever looked into your nutrition? I really had TERRIBLE acne until ~12 years ago. I tried every product and doctor but nothing helped me. Then I figured out that I have an food allergy, and since I removed a few things from my diet, my skin cleared up.
