The Mishimoto top mount intercooler looks great. I like the factory one myself. Subies forever.

Nice work. I have a 09 wrx pretty FBO pushing 300whp. I did brembos on it, and was thinking about getting the sti transmission.
I finally broke down and purchased a beautiful 2015 sti. Unfortunately it didn’t have an aos. I went to install one, and can’t get the turbo hose to slide all of the way down. I’ve spent about 3 hours. I’ve removed the IC to see if I can move the hose from the aos that is close to the place you have to connect the coupler, but I have it almost there. I purchased some screwdrivers with the hooks but I guess they are not really long so they helped but still could not get it all of the way down. I don’t have any boost leaks since I’m building the same boost as I did before the aos.

Unless you are going for more boost with an upgraded turbo the factory tube and fine core is the better option, tuners have said this multiple times.

Do I need a tune after installing the top mount intercooler?

Looks like a waste of money if the oem one still in good condition.
