that's what I usually do... plus "carefully" put some baking soda at the opening in the sunroof and then pour some vinegar down the drains, scrubbing bubbles for anything clogging
That's all good and all but you know you have drain hoses in the rear that no one on the Jeep Commander forum or the Jeep Commander Facebook page can get to without dropping the headliner and you didn't even touch those. The first issue is your sunroof seal at the top has shrunk from being in the sun over the years and it's letting in too much water to start with you can clean those drain tubes all you want to if the water is coming in faster than the front tubes are draining you're going to keep getting water in your front floor boards and wondering why fumbling with these drain hoses over and over again when that's not the issue your sunroof seal is. I have a guy with a charger on here that's replacing his sunroof seal it's just as easy as fumbling with those drain tubes if you replace your sunroof seal plus keep your drain tubes clean at the same time you'll never have this issue. Hope this helps keep on jeeping
Did this fix the leak? My girl and I have a 2006 commander as well with the same problem! I’m excited to fix it because we live In NW and rain is a constant.
Yes I'm happy to say, but did you notice the wire that ran from the top of the windshield down through the door jam. the water drips followed that wire. If you have the same thing put a bend in the wire and make sure the sealer plugs all small holes and gaps..... Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting...
@@doityourselfwithfixinitwit270 I saw my brother do it when I got it 3 years ago used the hose runs across the top near the visor what a headache I need another water pump had one done 2 years ago and a transmission pan and gasket 😭😭😭
I have the same problem with my 2007 Jeep Commander... Thank you, Sir... from California. 😃👍🇺🇸
Thank you sir...Glad we could help...😀
Glad y'all finally got around to doing that!
Thank you from NYC
Cut the tip off the black grommet, open the sunroof, the drain tubes are in the front corners, blow them out with air compressor
Thanks for the tip....

Where’s all the hair?
In a bag!!! Couldn't stand it anymore....It looks like it will be a while before we get the engine running so we decided to cut our hair...
@@doityourselfwithfixinitwit270 Hopefully it won’t be too long before it’s running. You guys have made a lot of progress.
Why wouldnt you clean the rear at the same time?🤦🏼
People who have no ideas should not post on utube
