Great video as always Matt! Congrats on the partnership man. I just got my 400 spooled up and out for some tests and wow. Super smooth, comfortable, and quick. Will definitely be looking at getting another one. My 300 treats me well but the 400 is just next level stuff. Congrats on 5,000 subs!! What a ride it’s been
Congrats on the partnership, that is cool. Keep us posted on how the Piscifuns perform with heavy musky lures. My son and I currently use Shimano and Abu Garcia, and we've had good experiences with both brands. We have both broken Diawas in the past, so we don't plan on running them again. Thanks.
Thanks for watching as always. They have been holding up really well so far. I’ve been working some rubber and medium sized twitches with the 400’s. They have been performing great, I haven’t had any issues!
I've switched over to this company for bass! These are incredible reels for the price and really competitive with big brands. They are smooth, can take abuse, and can tackle big fish!
I’ll be really curious to see how they hold up to ripping rubber and cranks. In 22 I broke 2 lexa hd’s, 1 prorex, and 3 lexa TWS’s while only fishing 3-4 days a week. Tranx held up great for me but i wouldn’t mind another option to try. Definitely will never buy another diawa
I’m with you on the Diawas, I know a lot of people have bad luck on those. I’ll let you know on the piscifun but they have held up really well to ripping rubber so far.
I wasn’t yelling 😂 it focused nicely this time. Congrats on the partnership! Piscifun makes a great reel. I have been running the 300’s for two seasons and they are bullet proof. I wish they would make a “350” as a mirror image of the 300, just bigger.
Hi. I’m looking to upgrade to the piscifun reel. I mainly throw 4-5ish oz mid and regular size Medussa and bull dawgs. What size reel and lb test line you recommend? Also, would a 8 foot extra heavy rod work with your recommendation? In my area we fish for 35-38 inch musky. Thank you so much. Me and my son are just starting out and your vids are godsend.
I just got my 400 in the mail today and the only issue I noticed that I’m not used to is when you crank the tension knob all the way to max, the lure still drops not like it does on any other of my bait casters. Typical the lure would stop and than I would adjust it. Does your reel do the same thing?
No mine don’t do that. I would also adjust your magnetic tension to see if that helps. If not I would maybe call their customer service and see what they suggest. All of my spool tension knobs work as they should.
I did and it continues to let like out of the spool when using a micro medussa which is only 1.9 oz. I than put a bass lure on and it would slowing let line out but it weighs basically barely anything. I contacted customer service with a video
TBH I set it up like all my other musky reels, drag locked down and spool tension to taste. Mine will make that noise but only if its super wet, like if it's raining.
I got 1 season out of the 300 and something snapped inside. I haven't taken it apart yet and probably not worth the time. They're cheap but ultimately a disposable reel.
Sometimes those things happen, no reel is perfect especially when it comes to musky fishing. The advantage with these is you are only out 80-100 bucks with the 300, vs 200-300 with a different brand reel. My 300 has done well for 2 seasons. Only the angler can decide what is best for them.

Congratulations on the partnership, using Daiwa’s for years no issues.
Thanks dude, I’m happy to hear you have had good luck with them! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Couldn’t agree more from both the musky and bass perspective!
thanks for sharing congrats on your new partnership!.
Thanks a bunch dude, really appreciate you checking out the tackle tslks!
I have the torrent for fresh water and alijoz 300 for saltwater I love them both
No doubt dude, great options for a great price!

@@MattVavrochFishing what size and type of Rod should I pair it with? I'm going to be fishing for Jacks and Bull Reds etc .
@ I mean there is no reason you couldn’t use what I do for musky fishing. I bet a chaos shock and awe or swat would work!
Thanks for the information. I’ll be using there reels for sure. H
Awesome stuff dude! I have been very pumped about them!

Hahaha I always appreciate the camera tips they are super helpful! That 350 size would be killer!
Ha, see that's why I don't use the fancy cameras, in truth I can't afford them. Lol
Great info love my 300
Thanks a bunch for watching!!
I'm in the process of waiting for my 400
Congrats on the sponsor Matt!!! Congrats on the Musky Munchies lure on Glenn’s raffle also 😎.
Thanks a bunch for watching g as always! That was a nice surprise today for sure!
I know right. Didn’t even know my wife signed me up!!!!
@@James_vasmillionthevile sounds like a keeper to me haha!
Biggest trophy I will ever catch lol 😎.

80 pound test and probably the 400 size for those baits. Good luck out there dude! I hope you guys get them!
@@MattVavrochFishing thank you! We are excited to get out on the lake. One other question, what kind of leader do you recommend? Thanks.
How would someone start working with piscifun reels
I would say if you are interested, reach out to them and see what they say!

@@PFishing12 sorry about your luck with that one, hopefully they will get you squared away.
@@MattVavrochFishingyeah I’m honestly just thinking about returning it and getting a 300 instead of
Does piscifun have a musky rod that will work
I don’t think they do as of now, but I use chaos rods and the original models are pretty budget friendly.
I just got mines not too long ago the 8:9:1, how do you set up the braking cause mines keeps making whining noise when I cast it

I don’t know but I bet he fishes and beats up his reels “in the North Woods!”
That’s correct, I do beat my reels up in the Northwoods. Thanks for watching!
