Heading across mountains in the north of Portugal and cutting into the Parque Natural do Alvão, the winding N304 may just be Europe’s greatest driving road. It’s wide, has a perfect road surface, offers rhythmic bends and incredible views. Best of all, other drivers rarely use it.

What a great coincidence! Just 2-3 days ago we were driving on the N304 between Mondim de Basto and Aveção do Cabo and my partner told me: "We have to suggest this to our guests!" (We have a small hospitality service in the centre of Vila Real.) And now Ford confirms our feeling!
As a local, I would suggest a few more roads: N222 between Peso da Régua and Pinhão, always a stone throw away from the Douro river, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage wine region; the M598 between Sabroso (Vila Real) and the old Tanha train station, along the Corgo, a tributary of the Douro; and the N313 between Santa Eulália (Ribeira de Pena), Alvadia (R. Pena) and Bobal (Mondim de Basto), in the Alvão mountains. The first suggestion is a bit heavier on traffic, but the other two are quieter.

In Madeira we have several like this, only with more traffic 😎
Truth. My wife and I visited Madeira on our first trip to Europe. Driving was not relaxing on many roads. Part of it was we had a lousy rental car. But some of the side roads were downright scary.
@@Lat41 Right, Madeira's roads require careful, prudent and somewhat technical driving, but they reward with landscapes

I had focus combi 2018 1.5 duratorq as a company´s car and it was a best car for me, I realy loved him and I miss him, he was my brother. I loose a job and bye bye focus ... That day will come and I will buy focus as a privat, but now nooo money for living because corona ...

Please sort out the registering of the new Focus STs in the uk. Waiting to pick mine up from the garage but all held up due to WLTP emissions certificates with the DVLA preventing any STs being registered! I want to drive mineeeeee!

I would like to know why did you change the head lights of the new ford focus to the darkest ones that are standard in st-line to all of trim levels such as titanium and trend or business, what is the main reason for that? Is it a question of marketing ? I would like to have a answer to my question!

FORD, please bring this and all the Focus Hatchback models back to the USA. They are much needed here and will sell a lot of cars for sure! Focus beats the Civic, Corolla, Mazda 3, etc.. it will be best in compact class. And the Focus ST will have no car even close to it in its performance hot-hatch class
I have an ST and love it, but current Veloster N and Civic R might have something to say about your last sentence.

Y no custom modes? No rev matching in normal mode!?
Ford thought people wont use custom mode that often so they decided to make fixed configurations. And maybe some drivers want to do heel & toe on their own? So its good its deactivated in Slippery & Normal Mode
@@purgex861 it's a simple software fix! How hard is a on off switch in a menu for rev matching Who would heal and toe in normal and eco mode lol!
@@elmin2323 enough people i think.. most cars dont even have "modes" or rev matching they just heal and toe, its just about fun.. its no racecar

Let's all do our part: call or write Ford US Customer Relationship Center and tell them what their American customers want. If we all contact them, maybe they'll realize it's a profitable business decision to bring the Focus ST 6 spd manual transmission to the US/North American market. Wouldn't hurt to ask for the Fiesta ST and/or the Puma ST 6 speed manual as well!

It's a Focus ST promo video, driven by a car reviewer that is absolutely excellent when doing independent reviews, watch him and you'll understand, and this is as dreadful as the Fiesta ST promo video. The journalist driving the car, no problem with him, just getting paid to do a job, nothing wrong with that.
