They're definitely sick as hell! I just feel that its very rare to get a direct hit with their small AOE, and then you're left with a 2 minute cooldown. But hey, if it works for you that's great!

I know the Spear's lock on can be a bit wonky. But i was able to repeatedly knock out biles in 1 hit many times today. The key is to get a lock while it is facing you, if you hit the head its game over for it.

@TeamFanette yeah my chief complaint isn't even about the ammo count. But about not having any control or the ability to change lock on targets (because of course I want to lock onto some little bug when a Titan is standing right in front of me) OR how I seemingly lose my lock for no reason at all when there isn't even anything in way.

The key to that is the angle you fire at, hit it from the side and you will hardly kill it in 1 go
The Titans got a huge buff. Quasar canon is better than the railgun and it doesn't run out of ammo
if you’re lower level running in a group or alone, the expendable anti-tank is a great way to keep up with higher level players and take out enemies with heavy armor like the bile titan
Dude, I'm level 50 and bringing that EAT beast in each of my difficulty 9 Helldives, a good shot to the head oneshots chargers, two good shots to the head and Titans are goners, 40s cooldown and with good kiting you can just run around and pick EAT at will, while recoiless greatly impedes your mobility. You can also pick up random support weapons in caches if you need em. EAT just rocks

My cooldown is 70 secs since I'm only level 10 or so, but yeah that thing still kicks ass on difficulty 7 and lower. I always bring it

Me and a buddy running around with auto-cannon sentries and the auto- cannon taking out 5 of them like a battleship going full broadside on it.

I have seen two AC Hell Divers with twin AC turrets absolutely WRECK titans and chargers. Meanwhile I sat there with my stalwart tuned to max rpm with a supply pack. It was GLORIOUS DEMOCRACY at its best.
Except the auto cannon is horrible for titans. Oh wait maybe its console players saying this where they get the goo goo ga ga nerfed baby version of bile titans
@boxforusa8970 It's not as bad as you think. All you need to do is focus the sacks underneath and let the sentry blast off It's top shell armor then a couple of shots in the exposed armor spot drops it pretty well. I play on PC. I usually have a full turret set up and now with the stun grenade make the autocannon builds even better because you can actually protect your turrets.

In unsafe mode, yeah. If you're not good at managing the charge, though, two or three safe railgun shots to the head should kill a titan.
Only when it’s mouth is open? It usually takes me 4 or 5 shits to the head to kill it Mabey this is why.

For those who don't know yet, you can also kill the titan with one shot in the head by using the right weapon such as the railgun, rocket launcher and more on. Aiming for it's mouth or it's eyes will make it easier to get a head shot. This is actually featured in the in-game intro/trailer in the scene where a helldiver hit the titan in the head with a rocket launcher
The absolute top way to kill titans and not just titans but chargers, tanks, ships, and anything else that moves. Use an arc thrower I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised, it melts through armour and can kill more than one thing at a time, also no ammo so more ammo for the team, after your first shot you can shoot at half charge for same amount of damage making it a much faster shot
EAT is best. You can kill it with the drop pod if you stun the titan, and it takes 2 rockets to the face for a kill, which is quicker than any other special weapon.

You'll have to use multiple rocket pods, several full reloads of the railgun, and a single orbital railcannon is insufficient.

I think Quasar canon and Railgun are among the best support weapons since they dont require you to carry an ammo backpack and allows you to equip survival key items like shield backpack or guard dog
I personally like 2 better than 1 but I also started the game recently and have like 8 hours of free time total for each week. I'm not at the point where I'm fighting 10 bile titans yet or whatever.
My fav that works every time. Quasar cannon shot to the head and one rail cannon strike. If you have multiple, four shots to the head with the quasar cannon usually does the trick
For more rail gun damage, hold reload when it's fully loaded, then use the aim button to swap from safe to unsafe. If you overcharge the gun, you die. But if you time it right, it gives you even more damage by using the unsafe mode
Yup can get one down with 4 good headshots usually 5 though as it is hard to get max charge and accuracy while in a sweaty situation
@darkoraptor4476 I feel like the unsafe mode always kills within less shots than safe mode. Dont need to go max damage but it's still more damage in safe mode even if you arent actively trying to max damage each shot. Just have to be more skillful with it so you dont blow yourself up. It's risky bit managed better with training
Safe mode kills in 2 shots in the mouth or 1 shot while spewing.
Unsafe mode is better for other things.

The arc thrower works surprisingly well too. You'll have to shoot right under the head of the bile when it's preparing to spit/vom.
Or, cal in reinforcements and land the hellpod on its back. Can say from experience, it’s very effective.
Orbital Laser great too! With my module I have 3 lasers per drop which is perfect for hard mission that require killing multiple
True they do amazing damage! It always ends up being on cooldown cause its also a great charger and crowd control option too
what you mean "with my module"? you can use it 3 times max by default, without any modules

I have found that if you aim it right and time it correctly the 500 kilogram bomb can kill it in one shot you just need to aim it so that bomb of democracy digs itself into the titan and it will pierce the armor embed itself in it and thats that for that bug scum but its hard. Funny to pull of tho

If you’re using the rail cannon aim for its mouth, you’ll also stun it out of the bile attack. There’s no drop off so you can also free secure enough in picking it off at range
A cheaper way to take them down is by using the flamethrower, it’s risky but useful in taking down bile titans
It takes a while but it is the most democratic way.

Also with the railgun if you hit it in the head just before it charges it’s bile spit attack you can stagger it and cancel it’s spit attack.
I run the EAT-17 for biles, wait until he’s about to spew than straight to the dome. Pretty underrated support weapon. I’ve taken out chargers with just the call down to grab one and blast a bile. Fun shit!
I find the orbital Gatling barrage works great too

The Eagle Rocket Pod fact that it auto targets the biggest enemy aimed at is something I definitely shouldve read up on. This changes things

The way titans become infinitely less scary once you get the railgun is so nice. 2 charged shots to the face and they go down easily. Chargers are spewers are honestly the worst enemies to face. Stalkers are obviously up there too.
You can 1-shot the Bile Titan easily using the Railgun, all you need to do is change the Railgun into unsafe mode by holding the reload button, and then charge the Railgun until the meter is almost full and shoot it at the Titan's head, if you charge the Railgun too long it will explode and kill you

Handheld rail gun to the face of a titan will kill them in like 5 shots. So if it’s already hurt it’s an option for a quick finish 👌
Didnt know the rocket pods lock on a taget. Rockets are usually dumbfire missiles.
A tip if you have none of these get impact grenades and throw them at the arse of the bile Titan it deals high damage and stops it from spiting bile
Also the Helldiver entry pod is a solid killer. Dropped on top of one when the reinforcement stratagem was called in.

AIM for the head and put it on unsafe by holding [R] on your keyboard
People sleeping on the disposable anti tank fr. Supe quick cooldown while being able to crack open chargers, titans, and hulks like fragile eggs.
Loved the EAT, it was sick as hell to sink that thing into a charger. I just found the railgun was so fun and versatile too
Expendables only has 2 shots, while in impossible or helldive difficulty u will have like 4 or 5 bile titans in a single moment. Sure u can kill 2 or 3 titans with it and ur stratagems. Lets hope ur teammates have their stratagems available to kill the rest.
@willowispgaming1995 you get expendables somewhere around every 70 seconds bro. I run it with orbital rail cannon and 500kg and slaughter titans on higher difficulties. We killed around 12 or 14 in one mission the other day on impossible and i took out around half by myself.
These methods of attack are highly effective against the BT, but nothing beats the feeling of running under one and blasting the heck out of its squishy parts with a flamethrower

Can be a one shot kill, get a lock, wait till the titan is just about to spew then launch a big fat missile straight in it's gob. Job jobbed. For democracy!

The shotgun that shoots fire rounds actually does seems to help bring down that efford
The las-5 also deals damage at a reduced rate through armor. Its not a good way to take on one but can tic some damage while you are waiting for something that can actually do real damage

You can also have a buddy reinforce and instakill them with their hellpod, harder to land but damn satisfying to pull off.
You can look up to see where your space ship is at and that can show you which angle it’s going to shoot down .
Rail Cannon Strike, Orbital Strike, and the Autocannon are my go to's
The deployable shield right under it when it spits acid the back splash kills itself instantly
You can weaken it by destroying the venom sacks underneath. It also prevents it from spewing acid.
The fun way. The 500 KG air strike. Sometimes its a gamble because if you are slightly off, you don't get the 1 explosion kill. But it sure is fun to almost die to a hilarious huge explosion.
1. Orbital Railcannon, almost an instant kill but even if it doesn't kill it opens a new weakspot
2. Eagle 500Kg bomb, almost an instant kill.
3. Expendable AT launcher (or Recoilless) on the mouth when it's open.
4. Railgun on unsafe at >90% Charge, aim for mouth or head.
5. Spear
Don't use the Eagle rocket pods they're kinda trash.

and at that point just bring an orbital laser or railcannon srike
6. Ship a bunch of Karens from Earth to where the Bile Titan is and drop them in its path to be eaten. Titan either melts them or eats them and dies of indigestion. A win either way.
My favorite was throwing a 500kg, and proceeding to slow walk towards it while yelling "EAT IT, EAT IT- EAAAAT IIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!" instead of running away like my friends requested, the titan went down and 1 buddy replied "Uhhh I think it ate it man"
Team reloaded spear can melt 2-3 biles under a minute.
Team work really pays off, but it's hard to get people to cooperate for reloads.

You can one shot the bile titan with the railgun if you change the mode from “safe” to “unsafe”. Just be careful!
I don't understand why people just use safe mode instead of unsafe, just release the charge if it gets too much and you'll not die
Orbital Rail Cannon and the grenade support weapon is my goto. Was playing some Impossible missions to get super samples last night, and I was solo'ing titans with this combo
You can now use a well timed 500kg or precision orbital strike to them them out in one hit. Bile titans aren’t that threatening anymore unless there are more than two.
There's a 4th way (sprays chrome on his face) WITNESS ME
When you're low level without armor piercing guns, the stalwart and some quick feet can get the job done

Terrible advice! These work sometimes on just one Titan. Won't help you one bit against 5. EAT, Quasar, 500kg and orbital laser would be far more effective.

I like the aoutocannon turret makes quick work of just about anything as long as it doesn't get broken😅
The Spear is also a PERFECT way to kill this thing. I can consistently use two spear rockets on titans as long as you can keep a safe distance.
Heck if you combine a good Orb rail cannon shot, you only have to use one spear rocket. Rocket pods are definitely OP for titans tho. One last strat that’s really good is the Eagle 500k but requires good timing to throw it perfectly in the path of the titan. But if you can do it then it’s guaranteed a one shot.
The spear is definitely killer! I just get annoyed with the low ammo, reload time, and some targeting funniness, but the damage is INSANE
@@bleeba The targeting is my biggest gripe with it. Especially since it seems to only target armored enemies and you have to keep a certain distance, I’m assuming for the rocket to arm properly.
I’d use the spear for titans but man that thing is wonky. The 500kg is definitely not always a guaranteed 1 shot. I’ve seen the bomb stick directly to a Titan and it survived it. Maybe the bomb does more dmg if it blows up directly under the Titan but I think I’ve done that before and it survived, the radius is finicky tho. Because of that I wouldn’t call it a guaranteed one shot. It sure does a ton of dmg though!
How good are the rocket pods against them? I tested it one time yesterday and it took all three charges but it did kill, so I was pleased with that. Have you gotten better results using them? I feel like maybe pairing the rocket pod with a railcannon shot or 500kg drop would be rly consistent and effective
@@agedgouda8809 I think rocket pods are great against them. It might not always one shot, but it takes most of their health, so it's really easy to kill them after
Once the armor is off, any weapon will do. Explosive damage even better, grenade launchers, plasma shotgun, scorcher on the exposed weak point. If you have nothing available and everything is on cooldown, do not run away in a straight line. Find a cliff or big rock and run circles around it. If you time it well, the regular orbital precision strike can one hit as well.
And then there's my goofy ass running around in circles dodging 50 enemies trying to poke it to death with my AWP
I've noticed the orbital rail cannon isn't putting them down like it used to. Just opens a gash on its back and weakens it a bunch still need to damage it more to kill.

If you have it distracted or have enough distance the quasar cannon is good. It will also destroy chargers at close range with a head shot
If you catch ‘em from a distance, using the spear on bile titans and chargers is insanely effective. As I said, distance is key. Use your primary and lob a few shots to get the charger or titan to come at you then switch to the spear and fire when they are facing you directly. As long as you are least 40 meters away(preferably more) you’ll score a one hit kill on em

@tomaszstarzZz I went the PS5 route. Growing up with Halo, starship troopers and Terminator this is the first game that's made me actually want to upgrade systems.
I probably have slain 50+ bale Titan with rail gun alone, once you get the hang of unsafe rail gun bale Titan is very satisfying to kill, especially if you manage to one shot it on its mouth
You can also take out a bile titan with a hellpod, like when you send out a reinforcement, although maybe supply or secondary hellpods might work too, not sure, haven't checked that yet.
Gitgud with a spear and titans will never be an issue again, they can 1 tap a titan if you headshot it
I've one-shotted a Bile Titan by shooting it in the head with the Recoilless Rifle. Felt like the intro.
The recoiless rifle was also very good

Orbital laser is the best for Titan's as it can kill one and still have time to take out other enemies after as well.
Arc thrower kills titans in 3 to 4 shots and is infinite ammo. After the first charge each follow up shot charges faster.
Hold R/Reload and right click to set the rail gun to "unsafe" watch the heat bars on the side, if it fills up completely you'll explode, but if you hold it until just before it fills you'll do way more damage, I've taken out titans in three hits. You'll learn the timing after you blow up once or twice.
