How To Fix Belt Tensioner Wobble On Your Car | Peugeot 307

In this video we are going to show how to replace bad automatic serpentine belt tensioner and pulley on Peugeot 307 2004 with 2.0 diesel engine. This belt is also known as auxiliary belt. Tensioner was starting to split apart and was causing visible wobble.

For a few weeks I kept hearing a noise under my hood while idle or accelerating but looked under hood and nothing took it to a mechanic and they couldn’t see why this was happening so the other day while driving lost all power and just has I turned into a car park my steering went. Rang my mate who’s a mechanic he looked and said my inna drive belt tensioner had broke and that’s why my car broke down.
So Went and got a new part now car drives perfect and no noises whatsoever

How do we know how tight the belt must be or is it just one tightness?
