Next upload will be a MiG-19 Ace flight (my first) with a post-commentary breakdown of events running through everything. What would you like to see next? Still have F.1, F-5, Sabre and Fishbed stuff on the editing table but good sorties might jump the queue every now and then. Is anyone interested in seeing anything regarding the latest WarThunder update?
Honestly I enjoy the commentary the most so, any plane that can generate a good talk works. On the other hand, have you been flying any of the helos lately?
I aspire to do even half as well as you in these dogfights. Need to just get a lot more experience with player - on - player because campaigns and AI don't seem to be that helpful even with the AI updates. Love getting the notification that you drop a new video!
I know, it’s so hard to work out the lead when you have to be so sparing, Viggen took 3 and the thing is the size of a building lol, would’ve been a very big buzz hitting an A-4
Ty for including your input screen (RCTRL + ENTER) this is actually very helpful to see how you dogfight/conserve energy etc. Keep doing this! I just don't see you using rudder at all, is there a reason for this?
It’s generally only needed for snap shots at close range or to aid roll authority, especially at lower speeds where airflow is reduced, or when compressing - you’ll see me using it then. Generally I’ll try to manage my positioning to avoid using it, rolling in good time reduces the need for rudder to speed up the roll, need to have good forward planning. In the MiG-15 if you over do it on the yaw axis it can induce yaw oscillations that can also affect your roll attitude, makes aiming even more of a struggle than it already is. Might be a product of my budget pedals, might be a skill issue, but the easiest way around it is to save rudder input for the times where over doing it isn’t going to throw off your positioning any worse than it already is, or you actually need the kick to throw you off axis for some reason.

I still haven’t flown the F.1 much, but they both appeal for different reasons, hard to compare. F.1 can avoid conflict and isn’t the best dogfighter, MiG-15 is kinda stuck dealing with whatever mess it gets caught in. For me, fighting my way out of a mess is a buzz, but it can get very frustrating at the same time. F.1 I can see myself using as a multi role/self-escort platform once I’ve worked through some of the ground attack weapons, need more time on it to develop a proper opinion tbh. Will be covering it a lot more so stay tuned.
It’s a fun little jet, prefer it to the Sabre despite the lack of missiles. Guns are very rewarding to use and it has no trouble downing more modern stuff if you can get close enough.

As your last video finally pushed me into getting the F1, more Mirage footage please.

Not yet, will dip my toes into helos at some point for sure, just not right now.

Hell, i'd watch World Snail Championship race if you live comment on it.
I'm happy watching any module.
Cheers.
13:06 guy was maneuvering in relation to you, and smacked a tree because of it. I’d 100% call that a maneuver kill. Great flying!
“Fuel 1500” - “yeah I’ve got enough for one more”
I think I had barely 100kg when that Skyhawk pop up happened lol.
Deeply regret not ejecting, could’ve legit walked back to the airfield ☹️

Thanks man, I owe a lot of it to the clusterfuckery that is WarThunder 😅
I love these furballs that develop on ECW its chaos, those 37mms are bruuutal
Those 37mm one taps 👌🏻

God if one of those shots on the A4 had landed *chefs kiss*
They were so close!

19:15 dictionary definition of manoeuvre kill??

@@Bullet4MyEnemy I get you, i'm using those cheap TM rudder pedals and dosing correctly is hard, i tend to overcompensate
Great video! What is the shortcut button for EWR Picture Request?
You can just set it to refresh every 30 seconds
@@Bullet4MyEnemy Setting in Communcation Menu?
@@YlmazDALKIRANscallion
Yeah, it's F10, F1, F5 I think - bottom option in the EWR list
@@Bullet4MyEnemy Thanks a lot!

Splendid!
Great, under rated vid.
I should really practice dogfighting more. The MiG-15 gameplay has reminded me that I've been really excited for the MiG-17 to finally come to DCS
Yeah, I’ve been pretty hyped for the 17 since Enigma’s interview with one of the devs, really sounds like they’re nailing it.
Nice! I need to learn the MiG-15
Which have you enjoyed more between the MiG15 and the F1?

MiG-15bis is a lot of fun, MiG-17 should be pretty mint.
Man i gotta try the Cold War server
Great fighting skills!
Slightly less great fuel management skills 😩
Mig 15, even without afterburner can really dogfight F5s, pretty good energy retention, might buy it
