The spellblock interaction change does have some important parts. Some important mentions that will effect gameplay alot: - Gleipnir is now blockable by linkens. - Lionstun ignores linkes (even if direct targeted) - Sandking stun ignores linkens (even if direct targeted) - Venge stun secondary bounce ignores linkens
I really don't like this part of the patch! Why not make Lion and SK's stun works like Nyx's? Point Targeted instead not this BS! It's just effing weird! Weirder when they introduced BKB's debuff immunity! It's like they're lowering the "skillshot" with this update.
@@andrewkarasek3219 that is such a needed change imo, anyone who picks lion never thought of earthspike as a point and click ability, valve just added the point and click aspect to it to make lion even more newbie friendly, but downside is the range is bad.
toss was not bugged. it stated in the skill's description that it pierces debuff immunity. as per the rule with debuff immunity. it ignored any extra magic resistance granted from bkb/ repel/bladefury and rage . they changed it and it nolonger pierces spell immunity. or atleast last time i checked. that part is missing from the skill's description in game. its an empty space between damage type
Omniknight doesn't feel like a cohesive design from a bottom up perspective (all the pieces fit together to make a cohesive whole and that's because he's a top down design (you start with a concept in mind and design the pieces to fit.) He's a paladin, hammer of purity is his way to smite evil.
You were wrong about Doom's facets btw. Gluttony has a much higher pickrate and winrate compared to devil's bargain. D2PT facet stats aren't available rn but on dotabuff Gluttony has a 82% pickrate and 47,38% wr compared to Devil's bargain's 46,52% winrate.
So the change that stood out to me most among the linkens changes/clarifications was that Ion Shell seemingly procs linkens. I'm assuming that means casting ion shell on an enemy will let you break their linkens which....I don't know if that was a thing before or not cause I've never seen anyone try. Probably won't matter too much, but stood out to me just cause I think it'd be amazing to see in a clutch scenario.
I feel like earth spirit had only one usable facet with right-click damage that wasn't really good except maybe early game especially as support and another that was basically useless. Now you have a facet that buffs your job as a counter initiator which is pretty great. Yes it's not practical or reliable but it does more than the right-click facet
Why is sunsfans fan so adamant to shorten the length of the podcast? Constantly trying to move the topics along? The longer form and them just shootin the shit is what im here for. Longer the better imo
Iirc sunsfan already learn from youtube algorithm optimization guy, who teach him to seperate channel of long form and short form (that's why the podcast has it's own channel and not in dota cinema anymore) and what type of stuff you are doing that hurt your channel, if you go long like 4 but the watch time analytic is people gave up after hour or so, it is gonna hurt your next video where maybe they are at 1 hour for the rest
Broodmother one is just fix - on previous patch u played safelane and set one web mid. You were ruining enemy mid game, and getting assists from kills on mid.
I'd rather be RNG bashed to death. Axe's laning was destroyed when you could just count the stacks and walk away from him (I say this as someone who plays safelane against Axes). It's dumb, IMO.
The ench passive sounds toxic AF losing lane and having to go jungle and now you struggle to kill them even more because they do so much more dmg i dont think this should be in the game even if it trash rn as soon as it becomes good its just bad design to me
Exactly!! Same as for huskar! the hero already god in lane why u make his good matchups even better like how ember even going to show his face in lane 😂
@@obeidasaad-l8s to be fair, Huskar is a real dog shit hero (not that I agree with the change, but he needed to be better). Ench was picked or banned almost all the time in pro. Not sure why the snowball hero that scaled into the late game needed to snowball harder.
man this podcast has gone downhill since they stopped giving a shit about anything important like reading important patch notes, I guess sunsfan cannot ever be bothered with anything serious ever
Nope, both actually play support. As do i. Seems like you like Philly stone, great, me too. but if you try to look beyond your own perspective, you might realize that using or liking an item =\= an item that is good for the game and should never be nerfed or changed. Thinking broader than your personal experience is a good way to approach both Dota and life, i recommend trying it!!
By 2085 we will have bought all of UK entirely so chances are we will open that letter just like they kept all of our artefacts for about 300 years Edit: of course this is assuming UK hasn't already been destroyed by being converted to Islam which is very likely

I thought that change was massive, cant Lotus Lion stun or Sandking stun. And lotus got a 1sec duration nerf.

1:04:56 how is 6 ticks weird when we already have a hero that can lvl his basic skills up to 7 times?

24:00 Sunsfan says Synderen has to go after 1 hour 45 minutes.
Did you listen to what they said during the podcast by chance???
For this episode in particular synderen said he had to do something so he had like 1 hour and 45 minutes. Sunsfan was reminding synderen about that.
The Dark Seer change to the facet is a HUGE nerf, you lose out on like 8+ int from the 4 gauntlet build.
