About using enamel paint:You can use nail polish instead because that's what enamel paint is:nail polish.However,you should always wear a mask and have really good ventilation when you use any type of enamel paint.

Thanks for your input, however, the type of paint I used is actually non-toxic. No need for a mask, gloves or anything else like that.

This is lovely! Is it straight acrylic paint or paint meant for glass?

I use glass paint, which is actually acrylic too. If you are using regular acrylic, I would try it find an additive for glass to it. If you are painting on bottles and not handling that much, the regular acrylics might be fine. I would try it and see. I have had people tell me that when they paint with regular acrylic on glassware, it has come off as the glass sweats... :)

Make sure you have a fair amount of paint on your brush. You can always 2nd coat it.

It really depends. I have some that I haven't been careful with, and they are still fine. However, if someome has messy hands and are holding them, that could case a problem.

You have to be careful. Light pressure!
