I was online looking for a new meat slicer as I have made a lot of jerky for the guys, but the Chef's Choice has let me and evidently so many others down as a common part that breaks and you cannot find a replacement, nor will the company answer their phones or emails, and saw your video with this jerky slicer!! I almost cried. It's such a chore to slice by hand, and as I said, the machine has failed me. I am going through your link to get this and I am happy you will get a little something for the connection. Would you tell me about that massive knife you use?? Thank you! SO GLAD I FOUND YOU, VAN!!

Great cleaning tips. I need to slice hot dogs the opposite way of jerky. For dogs at my shelter, we use thin sliced (round) hot dog coins. I wonder if this will work. I can pre slice hot dogs in half before feeding them in.

Oh My Gosh... I have got to get a life...
    BAHAAHAHA
I have gone down the rabbit hole of making Beef Jerky.
I had a dream about this video Last Night
    About Cutting Beef Jerky...
but for the life of me I could not remember WHO was in the Dream Cutting the Beef Jerky...
    It was YOU Van...
What is really EERIE,... This Morning I forgot all about the dream and THIS Video "Popped" up...
    I am so Happy...
Because I do agree with the way you're cutting this meat is Perfect.
In my Dream last night... I even designed the Packaging just like I wanted it...
    Made Beef Sticks too...
Van... I am still looking for the right off-set Smoker... I guess I might have to have one made!

      I'm on my own now...
Starting over at 70 years old...
but I love and know how to do this... but what bothers me is, people are already gripping about how much Beef Jerky cost... and if someone has never had a BBQ Biz... they can't even imagine how expensive it is to start out with.
I am still going to do it...
Waiting until I move back home to
      Albuquerque, New Mexico...
IF you SEE me on the Street Corner
Selling Beef Jerky with a Sign that says
      "Buy Beef Jerky...
      Keep Granny off the Streets"
      That will be me... LOL

Never handle those cutting wheels or the rotating gears with your bare hands, use the handle. Great tip using the cleaning brush to clean those wheels after use!!

way more cutting than you need to do. If you're going to cut them all into chops then it isn't much more work to stack them and cut into strips. If anything more work considering now you have to dismantle an clean the machine. What you should do is cut the through the middle into long flat strips then feed those through and cut the strips to the length you want.
