Thanks very much for the review. I’m looking at a similar product on amazon. 1/8” is what I like with bottom round. I’m tired of bugging the meat cutters at the grocery stores, even though I always hook them up with some jerky, I’d rather just cut it myself. Thanks again
Hope the video was helpful. I highly recommend this product if your not a heavy jerky maker (occasionally or seasonal). Thank you for watching, commenting and hopefully subscribing. Happy New Year.
Thank you. I’m glad this was helpful for you. The cut is Eye of Round. I buy my meat at Sams Club but you can get Eye of Round anywhere. Give it a try. Thank you for watching.
Farberware Edgekeeper Tabletop Hand Held Knife Sharpener. These can be found at target and believe it or not they’re $5.99. Don’t let the price fool you because I’ve had this one for quite a few years and I just drag my knives through it every once in a while and it puts a razor sharp edge on them. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a happy new year and stay safe!
Yeah. I see I tapped it a few times. Not sure that light tapping will significantly damage the blade. But, I think with some practice, I could be more proficient. This was my first time on the cutter board. I’ll be making some Elk jerky soon and I’ll try to reducer the tapping during slicing. Thank you for watching. Appreciate your comments. Stay safe!!!
Hallo William. Sowas gibt es bei uns in Deutschland nicht. Hab ich hier noch nie gesehen. Tolles Teil. Viel Spaß damit. 👍👍👍
Appreciate you watching. Happy Smokin my friend!!!!

Great review!! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you my friend. Appreciate the comment.
Thanks. I would have loved to performance of knife out of box before sharpening but good video
Thank you for watching. I should have tried it as-is out of the box first. You’re right. Sorry- force of habit. Stay safe!!!!
You’re the man!🤙
Thank you for watching. Glad you liked the video. Stay safe.
@@SmokinwithKasket you showed me exactly what I was wondering, great review! Appreciate you bro, stay safe as well!
Thank you my friend. Appreciate the positive feedback.
I’m am totally new to making jerky. And this video is super helpful. I was wondering what cut of meat did you use?
Thank you. I’m glad this was helpful for you. The cut is Eye of Round. I buy my meat at Sams Club but you can get Eye of Round anywhere. Give it a try. Thank you for watching.
What ceramic sharpener did you use?

Good review! I might go buy one now! LoL
Thank you for the comment. I’ll say, you can slice up pounds of meat in no time! This is not a bad purchase at all if you make jerky. All the Best-
That is slick!
Yes it really is. Must have if you do jerky!! Happy New Year my friend!!!
Good review! 3/4 i guess is waaay to thick though
Thank you. Yes for sure, 3/4 too thick! I’ll keep my jerky thickness at the 1/4“ size. Thank you for watching. Happy Smokin’!!!!
You can make some nice St. Louis style pork steaks out of a pork butt with it, though.
Do you think the stainless steel board will dull the knife?
Not at all. The blade edge just skims along the rails. No flat contact with the sharp edge
Hitting the blade on the end of the board sure wouldn't help hole an edge
