Ford Ranger FX4 4x4 Front Driveshaft Replacement

This video may help you if you have a 2000 to 2011 Ford Ranger 4x4. I will be replacing the front driveshaft with a Doorman brand. Tools that you will need are, T30 and 8MM socket and some penetrating oil to help loosen up the bolts. Hope this helps you.

Got a Dorman bolt (#926-410.) from Auto Zone. My 01' 4wd, 4.0 (three speed automatic) fused bushing on the lower control arm. All the way to Saugus MA for the last one in all of New England from Concord NH. Yep. One bolt from Auto Zone. Amazing. And so. I'm now driving this truck with 130K miles. Over 20 yrs old. I will look around for other videos. Maybe you still have this truck. ??? Do you have the three speed automatic??? Where is your uncle ??? Thanks for the views of the underside. That’s to expensive 😯, hit up the auto parts stores instead.

@ElChris. My 2001 drive is totally different than the replacement from O'Reilly. Same length but won't fit with cap on the transfer side. I think the cap that comes with new shaft has to come off for install.
