Hope you all enjoyed the video, I really want to make more of this sort of content because Project Zomboid is the perfect mix of the arma-style bullshit talking I enjoy along with fresh scenarios and tense moments. The multiplayer isn't perfect, especially with the radios not really working as they should, but we even got mods working. Lemme know if you want to see more!
Yes, please Project Zomboid seems like it has a lot of potential for good content, and it seems to have a quite detailed world.

Super down for more, there's a lot of potential. Solo zomboid content isn't my favourite thing, but I'm keen for more multiplayer zomboid

Remember, knock on the door to hear if there's any response, and if it seems safe, slowly look over the house for supplies. A single door so if zombies found you you literally couldn’t escape

No loot for miles
No road access
Sure most people don’t turn into zombies in a forest but if zombies migrate he is basically dealing with unknowns forever

Project Zomboid is the kind of game were I run around through a forest. Unarmed. Alone. At night. Confused. Looking for my friends. Just to get jumpscared by one single Zombie and die.

Zomboid is the kind of game where I can kill like 18 zombies with my fists, only to finally get a decent melee weapon to use and immediately get bit because I mistook the range.
To be fair, you never expect that porta-potty zombie...
@@tyler89557 Good tip is to set the aim outline for all weapons, since it gives you a better idea the range, though you can attack a slight bit before it appears since a swing takes time.
For me it's spawning, setting up a base, and then going outside with my frying pan only to be killed by the second zombie I encounter, because the combat is incredibly difficult.
@@ethanthereenactorguy4829 I wouldn't exactly use "difficult" as the word to describe how the combat can be..... It's not horrible (well sometimes it is) but it's not that good either.

I can also attest that there is a mysterious, but benevolent pancake god in this game that repeatedly spawns pancakes in the oven.
Can we summon Pancakus to this world? I would love to have unexplained, fresh pancakes show up in my oven.
Yeah, I was having the same issue with my buddies. Basically two dozen eggs would continuously respawn inside of our oven and we had no shortage of food for awhile.

The pancakes thing is actually a bug, I've seen other people reporting it, and it's hilarious. Treasure that oven though, it's free, infinite food as long as you have power.
Also, convoys are dangerous if your lead car stalls. Happened to me last night and resulted in a spiral that resulted in two deaths and one fracture.
These cars really need 360 degree vision tbh, you have a mirrors...
If you hold control, or rick click, you can actually look around! I learned this last night on accident!
i know noobert streamed zomboid for 24 hours and a convoy fucked him as well. but it is by far the best system to move stuff around. when changing cities.

Water in towns now shut off at a random day between day 20 and day 0 typically.
I've started at least four games with the water already off.
Rimmy,the reason why you thought the pancakes respawn is probably because there is an option when setting up the world to control the time limit between loot respawning and how long a player needs to be away from the container before it respaws.Not sure how that exactly works in multiplayer but it's just an idea
Nah, we later confirmed the ovens are in fact haunted, and will either eat or spawn pancakes at random. No idea why. Very spooky.

If you ever wanna Blast zombies from the comfort of your vehicle, roll down the window (if you have one) by pressing v in the car and selecting to open your window. Then just equip your gun and aim and youll be able to shoot out the car (passengers too). Great if you want to keep yourself protected fully while clearing out an area.

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
I think the problem is mostly that the accuracy system on the game is pretty shit, especially with a revolver
@@NotNicot You just need to get weapons skill and if you don't wanna spend the time leveling you can grab traits for it. You'll be on target super fast and the shotgun levels it very quick. Not to mention you can do mag drills in between for reload speed.

I followed project zomboid development for a while now, and seeing my favourite youtubers play it just makes me feel warm inside

Now that Multiplayer is part of the game I really think it’d be cool to start a colony in the game, maybe start with one house and slowly spread out throughout the neighborhood, start a big farm for food with rows of rain collectors

Dunno if anyone said or explained a bit more in detail, to talk to other players through the radios you need a two-way radio. Check the wiki, Walkie-Talkies found in game for example are two-way but have a much shorter range of communications and channel selection, whereas Ham Radios have access to a much wider frequency and distance range. Most easily found radios/walkie talkies are 'consumer grade' and don't have two way talk, but a way to access important information about Knox County early on. Two-way radios can be found at police/fire stations, news stations, in select survivor homes, military/defense outposts, and inside similar themed storage and vehicles. Once you do have two way radios, you can shout, chat through messages, or talk over your mic and it should be able to link up with others, as long as you both can connect to the frequency.
You see one of the things i learn about project zomboid multiplayer is that theres no time for you to mourn when one of your friends died, not because theres zombies all around you or cant risk wasting time and get surrounded just to mourn that one friend, its because when you die all of your friends will search your body take all your stuffs and run away, yeah thats right you bunch of vultures! 😂

The falling usually happens when you're tired/stressed. Or especially when you're encumbered, that's when you start scratching yourself
Pancakes do indeed respawn. Although all but one of them seem to disappear if you try to place them into another container.
God, my friends and I have so much fun in this game. We fortified a warehouse and had bedrooms n everything. Unfortunately, this was pre-41patch so we started over.

Especially if Names were hidden so you would have no idea who is and isn't a Player at first glance.

Maybe don't hurt yourself by moving with extremely heavy loads, that also just does damage for every action.
So for the radios though I had only tested them in coop rather than a full server and idk how much testing you guys had done yourselves but,
making sure the volume is all the way up with headphones or earbuds plugged in as to not attract zombies and block out background noise, and checking to make sure they're a twoway radio within range of others, should allow you and your friends to use them to their full extent. (Best way to remember is some ham radios will have around a 6k meter or higher range while a walkie talkie is only in the hundreds on average.)
Can't wait to see more tbh, looks like a lot of fun to play! That skill page looked scary though, seems there's quite a few levels to get.

Me and my bud playing with this, man we raided so many places (Fort Redstone which is an addon military base, Muldraugh, Rosewood) that we can arm a bigger millitia, assault rifles, shotguns, smgs, snipers, pistols, even a fucking minigun! Oh and around 120 box of 5.56x45mm rounds and around 100 box of .308 rounds, it took us 2 Humvee like pickups, a military truck and a civ truck to get those back to Rosewood gated community where we set up our base, with that much ammo we cleared out the western, northern, southern part of Rosewood, so its mostly safe to roam.
We uses mods like Brita's weapons and clothes and etc and i highly recommend it.

Basically surrounded by forests, since zombie pathfinding is pratically allergic to trees, you can just ditch any horde just by walking through the bursh.

I've said before survival crafting games get more fun in a direct, linear correlation with how many players you can have, and this is yet more proof.

Rosewood is good and so is West Point, me and my friends one time secured the center of town with the 2 story commercial building and had car barricades blocking both sides and had a cop car alarm off in a area to get the zombies away from our location best base I've ever had
