- I was STILL constantly moist despite the freezing temperatures. I swear I am never not moist in this damn game. Well, the challenge was some good fun, and let me explore some things I've not really used in Project Zomboid yet. Cars are surprisingly terrible for warming you up, and houses or camp fires are the way to go. Just don't get as close as me.

So, this is the season finale of Two and a Half Zombies: Rimmy and Sam try to rekindle their romance by moving to The Lodge, despite Sam's growing need for cigarettes. The B-Plot is that Rimmy's little sister gets bitten, drinks bleach, and dies, but the studio will probably force the writers to bring her back to pander to the V-Tuber demographic, so her death doesn't have the impact it should have.
8/10: could have been better, could have been worse.

Apparently, it is actually common for extreme cold conditions like the Iditarod and Antarctic expeditions to eat sticks of butter mixed with oatmeal.
So it is pretty reasonable to eat a stick of butter whole.

And 2) I feel like Zomboid is like DayZ with SS13 style depth. Obviously not to THAT massive an extent, but there's a lot more depth in this I find.

It’s funny living in alaska the cold weather allows sound to travel farther I think surviving the zombie apocalypse would be impossible here because of how hard it would be to get heat, food, and electricity. The modern conveniences really make it easy in more sub-urban/rural parts of alaska but in a survival situation/apocalypse your chances of dying go way up especially in the cold.
But low population density means low zombie count.
@@tardigrade8019 depending on where you’re staying such as the coast line of Juneau or the city of Anchorage You’ll run into more people call even Fairbanks and North Pole call have a fairly decent size population The further into Alaska you get towards Delta and no you do run into less people I’m not sure of how frequently you see wild animals in those areas but I do know seeing a moose tends to be rare In my area
Wouldn't there be much less zombies to deal with since Alaska is more sparsely populated ?

That being said.. There's a mod on the Steam Workshop called "Claim Non Residential Buildings" in case you ever want to use safehouse features.
You know, being hard of hearing on one ear doesn't really affect my life that much. But fun fact, for some reason only Butter girl's audio came from just one headphone. So for me the scene of her drinking the bleach and sitting down seemed like she was just judging Rimmy so hard.
I find it interesting how stores in most places tend to have mish-mash international sections, the ones in my town are focused pretty on Mexican and Japanese food, so there's actually variety.
9:55 honestly I've been do this mistakenly in my old playthrough when no multiplayer on that time and got panic stupidly mashing my spacebar 😂 that nightmare. The raw eggs eating It without cooking is a posion 😂
I literally got out of the shower just before watching this video. I say this because I no longer have an excuse to shower with the lights off.

My dream is just watch a game of zomboid with rimmy's crew and Nurse together: I just can't immagine how a group of australian psicopaths could interact with a ASMR-like-speaking sociopath, but this doesn't mean that i don't want it to happen

wow, doing a cold game right now in Project Russia's map, on the other hand I obviously expected this because it's close to Christmas but it's nice to believe that there's a coincidence rather than that.

Your videos are probably the biggest reason I even got Project Zomboid in the first place, and I'm friggin' loving it. Like an isometric Cataclysm DDA (and even has a challenge named after it!). I love survival games like this

Also according to youtube time measurement ago I was first but it had said there was 2 comments already before I made this so I really don't know if this was first. I think the timing might be client side for when I am first able to see it before refreshing .

Theres a great mod called Exercise with Gear. Its on the workshop it is exactly what you need so you dont have to re-equip all your bags after exercising :)

I caught a pair of stockings whilst fishing on a scouting trip in the mountains once. Someone put rocks in them so for a few minutes I was super excited that I hooked a big fish.

These Zomboid videos got me in the mood for survival/crafting/zombie game, but I went with CDDA instead because I don't think you can make a mobile armored deathbase out of an RV in Zomboid. I haven't seen winter yet, but after easy times in Spring, I'm now overheating pretty hard in Summer. Gotta take off some of my armor for lighter gear. I wonder how much I'll have to layer up in winter...

I was amazed by Franks Red Hot when I tried it. It tasted like a hot sauce, but had no heat whatsoever.
i have attempted this challenge with darker nights,mostly night sprinters and a louisville spawn, needles to say it was an experience, a very terrifying and adrenaline inducing experience i want but dont think i should relive because my blood pressure rised dangeroulsy

I’ve done the same as rimmy with the bleach when I was trying to clean some blood off a wall
I used a cooking pot in a microwave for weeks. Eventually it started a fire . Lost 90 percent of my base. Had a fallback base I saved by deconstructing a bridge to it. Now I rebuild
Heads up. If zombie respawn is on, zombies will respawn as close to you as possible.
Ye, Rimmy wont see this but,
Fishing has ideal times to fish. Dawn (4:00-6:00) and Dusk (18:00-20:00)
During winter, that's the only times its even worth it to fish.
I know, found out during the stream, but even at those times I was still finding near zero fish. I personally think it's not worth fishing in winter period.

interestingly the winter debuff on spawn rates is solely to do with the date and not the actual weather. so if you had a summer blizzard it wouldn't matter for the spawn rates.
other stuff they probably told you; live bait (worms, crickets, ect) is better than fishing tackle but can get lost. bait fish can only get one fish type (pike) and have an increased chance to pick up junk.

Fishing is really hard during the winter, fish swim to the lower depths of whatever body of water they are in and become very lethargic. Zomboid has this feature so in the spring summer and fall its fine but winter is very hard

Cook the franks with a couple of tablespoons of butter to make it thicken up enough to stick to food. What I do for wings.
Little butter, little cream and some flour, and it becomes a sauce you can put into pasta and stuff. Not that I personally enjoy Frank's, but you can thicken it up enough for that.
