You definitely could! You just want to make sure you have got them tied down well enough so they do go anywhere. www.etrailer.com/Roof-Basket/Thule/th859xt-8591xt.html
You would need to pair this with a roof rack that it is designed to fit the year Corolla that you have. www.etrailer.com/fitguideroof.htm www.etrailer.com/Roof-Basket/Thule/th859xt-8591xt.html
You will have a little bit of added wind noise from this roof basket but the real noise will come from the items that you add to the basket. www.etrailer.com/Roof-Basket/Thule/th859xt-8591xt.html
Are there any aftermarket cargo nets that you can suggest? The 692 stretch net sold by Thule is too price for a net imo
Check out the following link to see all of the cargo nets we currently have available on our website.

Good to know that all the locks hold down is a piece of plastic that you can replace for $7
The plastic nut is to make it easier to screw on. It has a metal nut inside it.
@@danielalien I'm referring to the foot-packs, not the crossbar. They legit just hold down a plastic door that's locked to another piece of plastic.
how heavy is this? is it lightweight? steel or aluminum
15kg, so quite heavy
@@cXilion 33 lbs. that's heavy!
How noisy is it
