My Finex, is a collectors limited edition, gifted to me by a very dear friend, and had probably more sentimental value then its considerable retail value.
Every single time I use classical music in a TH-cam video, the YouTybe copyright bot instantly flags it for copyright. As with every other instance, I've filed a dispute. What has happened every single time has been this: one month passes and the other company doesn't respond to my dispute, and TH-cam then removes the copyright restriction. That's because I'm honestly using a recording from the public domain.
I have a lot of cast iron frying pans of various sizes and two cast iron Dutch ovens. My first cast iron frying pan purchase was about 47 years ago. You should use steel spatulas and spoons when cooking with cast iron. And, you need to let the bacon alone so that it can cook. You are wearing it out.
Thanks for the video, interesting to hear about the evolution of the pan. I always argued against the Internet generated mania for mirror smooth pans, LOL, not realising that in the old days pans were rough or smooth, but only got very smooth with very very long use. Top tip : If you're frying bacon, out it in the cold pan and let it heat up with the bacon in it. You won't get that sticking you're getting now as the fat will render first, makes life easier! You also save time because you don't have to wait for the pan to preheat. The spring would work better if the handle wasn't so thick where it meets the body, it has much metal connected to the body of the pan that it must be transferring a LOT of heat. With a bit less heat transfer the spring would remain much cooler.
Heeeey you bigg winner 🏆 🥇 🏅 👏🏼 😍 Congratulations again Val. Only if you knew you had a whoooole cheering section. Corey, Rick, & me. You've alwzzz wanted to win. Hearing your name is the most exciting part ain't it. We're happy for you lady.❤

I admit constantly stirring the food is a bad habit that I need to break.

I always use yellow, red, or white (waxy) potatoes for frying.
I make frittatas at least twice a month. Yours looks great!
The absence of Jeff Culinary Fanatic is our loss.
Jeff is doing fine, and that's what's important.
Meaning his content I gather? Yes, he is missed but I luvvvv da fact CIC, Luis, Mud, honey badger, etc are carrying da torch. So all is well.
Jeff Rodgers is so under appreciated. Wish he would make content again
My first cast iron was a Finex with the copper handle, and I was bitten by the bug.
Good evening
