Great advise,agree with every thing you say, I still have my hiking gear from more 30 years ago and still use it, I really like my thermarest neo , very comfortable. You also have the same tent as mine mtn 2, yet to test it with some wild weather.

Hey 👋🏻 I’ve done the same, bought the Alpkit bivvy, Standard version in blue, I use the cloud 20 bag Sierra Designs and just bout a Big Agnes Rapide SL sleep mat due to my Rab Ionosphere failing on me! I’ve been really warm, when it snowed on me. Went down to -2C. Great bid thank you! ATB, Sarah

I have been really pleased with the MTN2 so far. Been in some cold weather with it, but not stormy yet.
