The OpenMV Cam H7 Plus comes with a OV5640 image sensor is capable of taking 2592x1944 (5MP) images. Most simple algorithms will run between 25-50 FPS on QVGA (320x240) resolutions and below. Additionally, the OpenMV H7 now features removable camera modules which allow you to use the module with Global Shutter and FLIR Lepton sensors for serious computer vision applications. The OpenMV is perfect for applications involving frame differencing, face detection, eye and marker tracking, QR code detection/decoding, shape detection, and more.
back in the days they said it was way too laborious to add external flash storage, happy that it has happened now definitely what this thing needed

In 1981 worked with 16x16 and 32x32 CMOS Imagers with pixel 0.1 x 0.1 mm. In 90-s with CCD 192 x 288.
Processing on DEC PDP11.
What is the difference between this one and the normal OpenMV H7 model?
It switched from the OV7725 image sensor to the OV5640 and it adds 32 MB of external 32-bit SDRAM and 32 MB of external quad SPI flash.

@@MrHD71 maybe, this model has been improved of memory read speed. the image is possible of fast processing.
The introduction also says that high fps processing is possible.
