For me, I loved the esthetic of the set when I was younger, but I sorely underrated the play feature. I was always curious just from the magazines, how well it would work and how it keeps the threads in the air. I'm so glad to learn it through your video now.
Definitely one of my all time favorite Chima sets. I also like you you decided to mention how the set functions as a parts pack. I've never seen that done in a TH-cam review, but it's a really interesting idea.
Yea I look at it this way, if all the cool parts are locked to sets over $70 well whats the point of buying smaller sets? Its been an issue for lego for a long time.
As a mid-thirty something who grew up on a healthy dose of 16/32-bit platformers and RPGs the music you use makes my heart happy. Loving the content on the channel so for. Looking forward to more Chima content.
I actually owned this set as a kid! I never really enjoyed the figures, but I did like the vehicle a whole lot! It's nice to see it still holds up all these years ago, perhaps I can still piece it back together from my collection.
Frankly I think you're overstating the importance of lime in the crocodile palette, from what I counted there's only 5 pieces in the whole lineup - 4 on the ship and 1 being Crominus' speedor.
I'm a sucker for lego weapons and it is really a shame that a lot of cool sword moulds like this one got retired very early
Those Croc sets are pretty sweet looking

This was one of the first Chima sets I ever got. Mine did have a defect with the Power Miner wheels, but I still really enjoyed it as a kid

Great series, this was my first ever Chima set and I love it to death
This is such a great set!
I got this as a child and remember having much fun with it.
Adooore this set, so much fun
this was my very first chima set. I was so impressed by how it was spinning claws while moving
