My Mom passed in 2018 to cancer, we were best friends, and I told her to make sure to send me every sign possible and I had a blue (her favorite color) butterfly land on me and just hang out for awhile, I got a full video, and 2 certain cardinals that both showed up out of nowhere and hung around on 2 of the hardest days of my life. Taking care for someone you love without having the chance of survival it’s the toughest job ever and the most rewarding. Well I know how Lily suffered, because I did intensive care for my Mom 24/7 from Nov 2014 till Nov 2022. No support and not a single day off…finally God decided to send her to a nursing home, because otherwise I would have died. Even so…there are things we cannot change. I’m sure your Mom assists God now and she’s watching you every single day. Stay safe and follow your dreams, because your music brings joy and happiness to the people. I just lost my dad to cancer 2 weeks ago. I've been numb since that day. He was the world to me, taught me how to be the man I am today. For the last few weeks he was with us me and my siblings all moved bake home to be his care givers. Through that time he would mostly hang out on the back deck and a humming bird everyday would come and hang out with us. And every day since it has come back when my mom is out on the dack. This song literally brought me to my knees. The most important woman in my life passed last year, March 10th, 2022. She loved butterflies more than anything, and that's literally how everyone knew her was through butterflies. My grandmother was the reason I plant flowers specifically to attract our local butterflies to reproduce in my yard. Hardest days of my life were coming to terms with her about to leave this world, and then when she actually did. I have never experienced heartache like losing my biggest idol in my life. We had a hard time with each other our whole life long, didn't see him that often during our time on earth... In the process of his going we both found peace with each other and forgiveness and brought up the courage to confess our love for each other. I see so many people living in fear and pain, trying to mimic toughness and strengh. But we all should open up, live life with joy and love. Your lyrics are really beautiful and a great reminder. I just wanted to say that we played this song at my mothers funeral this year back in April when she passed after a two year long battle with small cell carcinoma in her lungs that spread to the rest of her body. I listen to this song almost every other day, and I’m so happy that it was made because it was very beautiful and I couldn’t think of a better song to be shared at that time and to help remember that moment and feeling of saying goodbye.

I lost my father-in-law to cancer three weeks ago, its hard, ESPECIALLY for my husband, because they talked on the phone @ 6 a.m. EVERY morning...😢. We've also had a 14 month old, gr8-grandson pass away 5 yrs ago...the pain never goes away, we're learning to live each day the best we can. 😢
She also sang it on AGT as a contestant in 2022. She struggled singing it thru her emotions. It was still beautiful

When I heard this i immediately burst into tears. I remember my grandmother. She was very dear to me. I never got the chance to mourne her death. I was away when she died. The last time we saw each other, she made me a cup of coffee. It's always the best when she's the one making it. Our next reunion was at the cementery, 11 months after she passed away. I will never get over her and this feeling. I will always miss her.

This song literally brought me to my knees. The most important woman in my life passed last year, March 10th, 2022. She loved butterflies more than anything, and that's literally how everyone knew her was through butterflies. My grandmother was the reason I plant flowers specifically to attract our local butterflies to reproduce in my yard. Hardest days of my life were coming to terms with her about to leave this world, and then when she actually did. I have never experienced heartache like losing my biggest idol in my life. My biggest fan and cheerleader no matter how bad I fucked up. The biggest love of my life, my grandmother. This is the PERFECT tribute song for my ANGEL 😇 ❤️

She too passed away of cancer. She beat it the first time but the second te came back in 4 years and she was gone in less than 2 months.

My dad passed away in 2021, he had ALS. We had a hard time with each other our whole life long, didn't see him that often during our time on earth... In the process of his going we both found peace with each other and forgiveness and brought up the courage to confess our love for each other.
I see so many people living in fear and pain, trying to mimic toughness and strengh. But we all should open up, live life with joy and love.

Lost my momma 23 years ago and not one year goes by that doesnt hurt or that I dont cry that i can no longer see or feel her touch. I was 16 and I would give anything to just have one day with her and to have her meet my daughter that we named after her. Butterflies have always been a symbol of my mom. Thank you for this. I just wanted to say that we played this song at my mothers funeral this year back in April when she passed after a two year long battle with small cell carcinoma in her lungs that spread to the rest of her body. I listen to this song almost every other day, and I’m so happy that it was made because it was very beautiful and I couldn’t think of a better song to be shared at that time and to help remember that moment and feeling of saying goodbye.
