There is no need to open up the remotes- just press the button on the remote that you want to pair for control after pressing the yellow learn button on the opener.
These remotes came without a pre-installed battery, therefore I had to open the casings to put in batteries. Thanks for that bit of info I didn't cover. Correct, it isn't necessary to open them if they come with batteries!
I have a first gen Miracle One dual operator that still works, but they no longer make parts for it. When it fails, I will replace with an LA 500. Was it difficult to install for a homeowner?
To be honest and fair, i didnt install the setup. My understanding of this unit setup seems fairly easy, but I would seek out other info/ video information. Sorry
Thank you it took me 5 minutes to do after learning from you !
Perfect! You taught me just what I needed to know. Thank you!
Thank you for stating the gate model at the start.
Worked perfect! Thanks

Did you press the program button first on the remote ?
Press the learn button 1st on the control panel and after the beep you press and hold on the remote for 3 seconds to program the remote
Can't connect this gate to the car's HomeLink. Tried everything, including the HomeLink bridge. Does not work with 2 different vehicles.
THIS does NOT apply to all Liftmaster Gates. Liftmaster's web page is lacking in information.

What about programming to a car
Do you have to take the top off to program it?
You don't have to take off the cover of the remote to program. The replacement remotes I was given needed batteries. That's why I had the covers off
@@rc_repair thank you!
