The Forbes list of billionaires might be a good source for finding wealthy people, however the Rothschilds are listed as nobility [1]. This means, by Forbes' rules, that they are exempt from the Forbes list of billionaires. As the site itself states:
"Looking for Queen Elizabeth II? You won't find her *or any other royal* on the list. Forbes *doesn't include members of royal families* or dictators who hold their wealth through a position of power or control riches of their country." [2]
The Rothschilds also aren't just your average "wealthy family", as you tried to rationalize in 8:55, as Rothschilds *didn't* lose their family wealth until the 3rd generation (or else this video wouldn't exist), but also have endured many centuries of keeping and inheriting wealth.
To make the extra step and tell you how much the Rothschilds are really worth, I can't make a 100% substantiated claim, as I cannot find a specific number. Until recently, Investopedia calculated their net wealth at around 2 trillion $, but they then pulled this number and claimed it was a margin of between 350 billion and 2 trillion, of which the 350 billion number came from a source they themselves claimed was inaccurate. [3] Even with these numbers, we can estimate that they are between the 1st and 2nd place when it comes to the richest families in the world. Pretty darn good, I have to say.

I think you were wrong about one thing, namely people born in rich families actually have a higher chance of preserving wealth. Leaving everything else aside, even within your video, these guys made it form the 16th century to ... today. What he meant was that it was roughly 5 million in today’s Dollars and then underneath that he gave the exact amount I.e. 4.87 million
The voice over and the graphic on screen clearly say "$5 MILLION IN 1820" and underneath is where it shows the supposed equivalent in today's dollars, but those 2018 amounts would make no sense because they're not adjusted for inflation.
Glad others caught that too...I was like there is no way that’s right! But 4.87 Billion didn’t sound right either so I used an inflation calculator online and got a result of
$5 mil in 1820 = $107 mil in 2018
So I’m not sure where that 4.87 comes into play..... also the figure that comes up a few seconds later about the $0.5 billion is wrong as well... the result I got was
$0.5 billion in 1850 = $16 billion in 2018
