Although you covered almost all of these glitches when they were relevant, it's great to see them collected into one video. The nostalgia of it makes it even more special. Also Overpass is the GOAT
Of course you chose the best BGM from the game for the CV…. Bless you desk been rocking with you since day 1 and your the only person still keeping it like the good old days! Thank you
Goddamn man, I opened the video and I started tearing up from the music. I miss the days of watching the hype ass tournaments for this game, seeing the community grow and just spending time with my friends on this game. I wanna go back
That actually makes it "worse", as the player can just draw out the match to potentially time out. With no opportunity for the opponent to respond or do anything, assuming no execution mistakes. That last part is what kept it reasonable in practice; all the infinites require basically nigh desk levels of execution to do them for long stretches of time.
Seeing the Yang glitch and especially the Fei Long infinite actually made nostalgia for _SFIV_ despite having missed the _Ultra_ phase of it entirely. It's rather interesting to see that they patched out some things but didn't bother fixing others. Huh.
Hey desk! Might I suggest doing this with Gouken and Seth as well? 1. Perform Gouken's EX demon flip, and cancel it mid air with armor parry 2. Use Seth's EX tanden engine in Gouken, which catches Gouken mid-air, and breaks his armor If you try to combo with Seth, the first hit will connect, but the second won't, thus opening an opportunity for Gouken to punish Seth
This is a system-wide glitch that happens when you restand someone in an airborne state (not juggle state), it should still be in the game. IIRC it also happened in the Bison U1 trade shown in the video.
Maybe you can do one for SFV as well? A weird interaction present in current SFV is when at the round start Ken does EX DP and Zeku does medium kick DP. The two DPs clash but Ken's is invincible and it beats Zeku's move, however, after getting hit once, Zeku is immediately reverted to grounded standing position and follow up is pretty much the same as if Ken whiffed the DP.
Isn't there also the glitch when Yun when you don't select a taunt then pressing HP+HK resulted in a LK coming out, it got used to create some weird option select as well. I don't remember exactly what the glitch was and in what version it was present but it did get patched out later on.
Hey Desk. Are you planning on uploading a new Focus Attack based video? Part of me always felt that players limited themselves to how they used it defensively. Sticking to fadc if their move was blocked. This could just be wistful thinking on my part, but I don't think we know the ins and outs of this game. I do think that that "Focus" could have potentially been used in a similar fashion to the parry system in 3s.
I think I did some stuff like that back when SFIV was popular. You've definitely inspired me to go back and have a look though because parry style FADC stuff always looked great. Thanks for the suggestion!
parry was universal all focus attacks are not(speed, hitbox and hurtbox all different). Depending on the character youre defending agaisnt using a reversal into safe FADC or just straight up blocking was stronger than any of the focus mechanic including red focus. I think you're underating how strong blocking in SF4 was. No risk gauge, no block gauge, no chip from normals + crouch teching. If you just want the armour from focus use an reversal with s or armoured reversal at that. But armour was so easily beat by 2 hits or breakers and if you thinking people could of just FADC oppenents attacks to gain space or dash in then you get blown up other option selects. Focus was pretty cool mechanic but SF4 had way stronger options for defence for pretty much every character and every situation.
Slo-Mo Ken is probably one of the silliest glitches I've ever seen in a SF game
“I know this place…”
Hahaha
That Abel combo is the mike "enjoy your turbo" Ross special
mike vs toolassisted is the best matchup in sf history
@@raz3488 XD fun moment. the hate was real
I knew Yun/Yang could dance but that ghost move was some next level bboy
Perfected a technique of Gen's I see.

0:06 *Fairy godparents!*
You seen it!
4:29 El Fuerte dancing to the music is such a vibe
Yang just started reenacting that SpongeBob scene where Patrick somehow beat himself up without moving a single limb
You hit me right in the nostalgic feels with the overpass song. It was one of the many things I loved about this game.
So glad to see some SF4 again! Top quality video as always ;)
Thank you, desk!
5:15 Shoutout to the Nightmare Booster being so effective that it attacked across games.
I see new USF4 videos and still get excited. 👏👏👏
Man I remember trying to hit that fullscreen post KO U1 as Cody all the time against my friends! Good times :) Thanks for the video, and the memories!
Did you manage to hit it back then?

One of my favorite ost in the game
3:31 I like how it looks like the martial arts kid in the background is trying to imitate Guile xD. He wants to learn how to ignore hitstun too!
I love how infinites do no damage

No dmg infinites are way worse. Jist look at all the time out infinites in Hokuto no Ken.

good times of sf4, desk has the best combos, it was sick
Thanks for the upload, if nothing else but for the feel good jams of SF4.
0:39 Cody just learned flying raijin?!?!
4:37 how does ken air dash after tatsumaki?
Overpass was my favorite song in this game !!
Hmmm, interesting. Keep up the good work Desk!
Overpass stage gets a free like. Ungodly amounts of sit-ups done to this song during my tournament days

Seriously this is such humble pie for me.
4:22 it's like when an anime character hits someone a million times with a sword and nothing happens until they sheathe it but in reverse
Always great to see USFIV content 10 years later!

It's cool to know that Edition Select is so accurate. Even the glitch where Vanilla Sagat is broken is still in there.
I remember accidentally doing that Abel stun combo in a ranked match once. Me and the other guy were so confused lol
There was a combo between Gen and Cody that wouldn't work if the costume was changed. I forget the exact recipe.
Yang being either possessed or having an out of body experience is just fucking sending me lmao

No, 2:09 is not a glitch. Its an opportunity to stare at Cammy's assets
Could have been a 10 min video.
Looking politely
You can stare at Fei Long too so that gets weird
_"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Everything Is Lies, EVERYTHING IS LIEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!"_
I fucking love SF IV. Also the "Are you just gonna stand there?" after dizzying from Poison was perfect.
More... We need more of those !! Thanks !
Yang was feeling the holy spirit.
game is fun as hell
I found copy of Vanilla was awesome awhile ago, I had forgotten about a few of these
Hey, it's Error1
Damn the music brings me back
I miss this game man, good times

This music is so nostalgic damn

JoJo pose Cammy is the best lol
That Abel infinite takes me back way too many years.
Sir, this video must've taken a while to make. I ended up watching the whole thing because it was easy to understand.
cammy glitch is fine because no one in the history of the world has actually picked that ultra
Seems like the stuff that was fixed was centered around how hits were calculated in certain states.
Cody had that Dungeon fighter online Warp Combo. 0:46

0:52 does this only happen if they die from it anyway?
Yes.
Error1 also recently-ish found an infinite with Omega Dan too, that's a fun one.
I could swear i once managed to cancel a normal or special into Ultra 1 with Ryu without the fadc by accident.
The good old days of sf4..
Cool stuff!
Remember Mike Ross getting hit with the Abel-BOT Infinite😁
Best SF ever
Love that cammy jojo pose glitch
I miss this game
The bug where ae yang is invincible on wake up when he doesn't press a button still works ?
the Yang glitch is like that one bit from Spongebob where Patrick fakes getting hit. lol.
Isn't there also the glitch when Yun when you don't select a taunt then pressing HP+HK resulted in a LK coming out, it got used to create some weird option select as well.
I don't remember exactly what the glitch was and in what version it was present but it did get patched out later on.
What about Guy's Ultra 1 glitch in SSF4 where he grabbed nothing in the air during the ultra animation, in certain scenarios
4:35 what the hell is that distance!
it's a kara cancel, basically heavy air hurricane kick kara canceled into ex
0:05
the break-dance punch
I had just found this out. If you use yun and do his super, you can wall carry by pressing his heavy kick and ⬇️↘️➡️ light. ( Quarter circle forward)
Yang literally did the Patrick getting beat up by nothing thingy
What about Vega's unblockable on Ibuki, facing the corner after a sweep with Ultra 1?
The guy glitch was sick as fuck, obviously an oversight but it was cool while it lasted
every sf player: i hate infinites!
guilty gear players: so anyways we have this thing called burst.

Man I miss excellent adventures
Anime said that, Yun glitched because he is in the middle of being transferred to isekai.
Wanted to see if you could still do that Ken glitch in the Mobile port, but the Fireballs are always with HP and goes too fast :(
Not only is DESK talented AF, he's also a time traveller?!? lol
ah yes, the Chun Li infinite that only desk can do..did anyone every claim his bounty?
I've actually encountered that slow mo ken before
There still Gen inf, and the Gen Parry unintended glitch?
What about the glitch to get infinite Player Points? The one Smug used to become the number one player online??
Oh yeah I forgot about that glitch, isn’t it called “being good at the game”? I was never able to get it to work unfortunately.
@@jk844100Damn man that's tough...They probably patched it or smth
AE Yun was something else lol.
You should do this but with umvc3. Or just mvc series in general. Or maybe mvc2 - mvc3
Seeing Fei Long in the video made me realize it's kinda weird he never got into SFV. He's not even really talked about even.
One of his movie posters is on the side of the bus in the China stage.
Does Cody have to kill in order for that glitch to work? Is it just for style?
yes or it will whiff
what's the background music?
I'm surprised you didn't cover the unblockable glitch when you hit the opponent with a projectile on the same frame as the ultra flash
Reminds me of Gouki being able to focus attack Zangief's Green Hand with the edition select. I think only SFIV gouki can do it.
4:36 i’m sorry is SF4 always this floaty or did you just gloss over this entirely
Yo the fei long chicken wing strong punch string is in super turbo too 😎
That’s first glitch Yang hit the “FAIRY GOD PARENTS” 🤣🤣😭😭😭
I can't see how this game could pass to posterity.
