I just started airbrush and I love your videos ! You break it down so easy ! And I just got my Gerald Mendez stencils you use ! And I’m gonna do the spiral galaxy this weekend but thank you for an AWSOME video tutorial! Can you please do a superhero like maybe BATMAN?? I’d love to see your artistry genius on a superhero! Thank you for your consideration and if not YOU STILL KICK ASS AND ROCK🤘🏻🤘🏻I’m 50 yrs old and I’m a retired police officer and my wife said I better get a hobby cause I was driving her nuts ! So now I’m driving her nuts with you videos!! Lol thank you again Your student Marc 🤘🏻🤘🏻
i really shy away from doing superheroes, mainly because copyright issues. I've painted a few but I really don't post any of that on social media or make videos of them. Im 55 and went from being a plumber with a wrecked back and neck, a hobby artist to now in just a few years. Keep at it because I was 46 when I first picked up a brush. and really was 50 ish before I took it seriously. Thanks!
@@TheAIRspace omg are you serious!! I thought you’d have like 20 yrs of airbrushing under your belt! Your technique is flawless and you make paintings that are better than the guys who I know who have been doing it for 20 yrs or more ! WOW ! I’m not gonna lie when I started I had so many problems either with clogging or air pressure or paint consistency! I bought an Iwata eclipse and I started getting my paint right but then sometimes I think I suck cause some of my paintings look like dog crap compared to yours! And I was ready to just throw my hands up and quit ! Until my little girl said to me she loved my skulls paintings ! And it reawakened my need to want more and I know if I keep it up hopefully someday I’ll be as good as you! Did you ever feel like that?? Just like forget this ! It’s a pain to keep the brush clean! Or it just wasn’t working! And if so what did you tell yourself or do cause I really appreciate your advice as a professional! Thank you Marc 👍🏻👍🏻
@@ELPADREAIRBRUSH I have been up and down multiple times, many periods of inactivity. Its not uncommon. just focus on some other art if you get to feeling that way. Take up some drawing a little, focus some time studying color. That seemed to work ok for me. I really really got knocked back last year, with my grandbabies leukemia. But we have rounded the final corners there and shes now thriving. I really have cut back on comission work a lot, but i still have to do some since its the bulk of my income. Honestly the techniques will come on their own time. what will make a bigger impact is learning the art knowledge. It builds on itself. you learn one little thing, another and then another. Soon you find out what you want to keep in your skill set. Once you start combining skills together it will click and you will progress rapidly.
@@TheAIRspace damn I forgot about copyright!! That’s ok ! I’m also gonna try the painting of yours the solar flare cause that kicks buucuu ass!! Ok I have a question?? Have you ever used cretex transparent paint ? And if so I started using it they say you have to mix it with something called ulvs base ? But some artists said you don’t have to ! Just use 4011 reducer! All that’s used for is for automotive applications? Do you use it ?? Thank you Marc
@@TheAIRspace Omg ! I’m so sorry ! Me and my wife just became new grandparents ! And I couldn’t even imagine! That was always the biggest fear of mine please god just let my kids grow up healthy! Well god has a special place for you and your amazing family! And may god keep her strong and may you hang your paintings in her house when she’s old enough and has a great life !❤️🙏🏻
Best airbrush related channel on YT 🙏 PS When you please have the time, try and think about a cool painting scheme for a waterfall graphic, something inside the nature, with trees, mountains etc
Don't let me forget it.. BUT it likely will be mid may.. i got a mile long list of house related things to do before the trip.. 2 human portraits and one other painting for customers before I go :) Waterfall theme.. that sounds fun! Maybe a surrealist forest.. im a big fan of the surreal.
ohhh bucket load of panels.. see I just dropped 200 some odd bucks on white and black blanks. But i already know I can chew through 200 bucks worth of panels pretty fast if I get motivated. Definitely give those opaques a gom i shoud warn everyone it will take some adjusting to how you paint with them. when you first open the bottles your gonna think.. this stuff aint gonna spray at all. And if you go cranking the pressure up.. its gonna tip dry horrible. of course you can use transparents and add a bit of white to them adjusting for colors.. or just do it in white and tint, but thats extra steps :)
It has been a while.. Coral especially is MUCH easier with a brush and other techniques. But I have done it all airbrush before. But I should do a video on how the depth underwater is created at some time. (outside of the paint want you see mantra)
@@TheAIRspace Hi Bill thanks replying. I love anything like that, colourful fish, crabs squid any of it. Thanks, look forward to it. I want to do something on my motorbike, my helmet and a t shirt.
i am about the most disorganized individual EVER> there are many shots of my studio space floating around. actually i REALLY have been meaning to relocate (Still at home) for 6 months now.. but i cant seem to take a week off to set the other space up and move over ;/ Thank you!
I'm just starting my journey into painting solar flares and I am airbrush incapable... I like your video for colors and layering but I don't know how I'm supposed to achieve those airbrush amazing effects without one!
while I dabble with acrylics and pencils and markers... i really only teach airbrush and spraygun art on youtube :) It is possible to achieve some incredible effects with a traditional brush however :)

Thanks Dean I hope you got a bit out of it!
Great job Bill! I love anything that is related to space. Planets, galaxies, and solar flares rock.
I love space stuff too! i could easily get sucked into a rabbit hole of painting space scenes over and over for days.
Thanks!
Beautifully work. Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome! Thank you!

Thanks Timothy! Thats what its about trying to help a few folks out! I think people like the simpler ones more than the detailed ones!

Did you mention using Blue Shine on your artwork?
no.. i mentioned lesser degree of blueshift.. but thats a very long explanation. :)
@@TheAIRspace actually its at the 1:00 mark where you say i dont use gloves, i use blue shine?
@@michaelv2175 I said moonshine.. and was referring to as a hand sanitizer.. was meant as a joke but I think missed a mark in editing.
