The 3rd sub is running through Oklahoma. Mine is set on the Minden sub (loosely). I think Steve Davis' 3rd sub is set in 1982 and mine is set in 1976. So we do overlap some in motive power and rolling stock.
So Robert, I like the way you built up that train but, if you were in an ops session , you took 45 Min. or so to build that train. The rest of your operators were sitting there waiting for that train to clear. You may have trains waiting out on the main for this opposing train. I'm not saying you took too long or you did it wrong , I' m saying you ran it the way I would have, mistakes and all, but what about the rest of op session people ?
Normally, when you have an ops session, you will have trains built already for the other operators. The yardmaster would do yard jobs and break down previous trains and then build trains for later in the session or for the next session. That way, you are already ahead every time you start.
Alas, no magnetic uncoupling or remote control turnouts, so giant hands from Mars are constantly falling from the heavens. Blame both on being poorly designed and not popular.
I chose not to have remote switches since the prototype had none. They were all hand thrown. I really don't care for the magnets myself. Thanks for watching.
Wow, you didn’t even have to cherry pic. That’s half the fun.
Nice OPS yardwork…great having the space to make up/switch long trains…very realistic…
Thanks, Anthony.
Very nice, Robert. Your engines moving the cars smoothly forwards and backwards. Great job.
One of the few times...LOL
What? Someone running trains? Tank cars and the perfect caboose choice 😊
Yes, and now I have a yard job for you.
@@FlyingCrow Sweet.

I appreciate it Lee.
Your just another Steve Davis....that is a good thing btw
I just need to get you down here.
@@FlyingCrow just need to plan it out and do it! Likewise to up here. Better once shed is built though
This is a completely different layout that is coincidentally similar to the 3rd Sub I’m guessing?

Why don’t you have a consist printout just hold in your hand
Too lazy to walk inside to the printer.

zoomed in way way too far. I do like seeing all the rail action not just a point.
Yes, I did at that one point. Not paying attention to the camera.
@@FlyingCrow I did watch the video in full and it was definatly interesting.
