I appreciate their honesty because it tells us a lot about society in general. These women wouldn't have taken these drastic measures if society didn't make them feel like they weren't good enough. It'd be so easy to sit here and judge these women but their reasons to me seem very valid. Everyone wants to feel like they belong..we all want to be loved and appreciated...all things that make us human. And when the color of someone's skin is their biggest barrier to all that, it's easier to change to fit in than to change the way society sees them.
