The progressive realization of a worthy ideal.
I had to read Whitman’s Leaves of Grass and many of Emerson for an English class and though I didn’t understand a lot of those tough poems, this one is simply relatable and beautiful

Going day to day seeing life at its finest in playing children.
Going day to day being shown your flaws that you can adjust.
Going day to day knowing those that betrayed you do not comprise your soul.
Going day to day recognizing our world is a living organism and we are its cells.
Going day to day to pull out a person's strength.

I love Emerson's work, but this poem was actually produced by Bessie A. Stanley, an American writer from Iowa. It was originally published in Heart Throbs, a book that compiled the writings of many authors. A few pages down from this poem ("Success") is Emerson's "Good-Bye". It is speculated that an original misattribution arose from their proximity. Regardless, this is a beautiful piece of literature!

Finally i found a pioneer in his subject, who discovered the true natur of himself and left something behind to discover it in ourselves. In our current time, who is a big personality anymore or a real inspiration ? I can't tell you, but from now i'll dig myself into these old, wise texts from ralph waldo emerson and his student henry david thoreau.

Success is subjective!
If you were to ask most people what is success, the automatically think in terms of money, business or fame etc. They would never even consider it to be any of what Emerson says, which is sad.
Ĺove this guy, life running over with narcissistism and causing war death what could I do, suicide appeared inevitable. Memorized his poem, (this rounded world fair to see) even my dementia hasn't interrupted my special memory.
