Dear Dani, to watch your videos (and fotos) means always joy for me. Thank you for this and the beautiful squirrel-calendar and the squirrel-postcard which arrived last week. "God fortsättning", welcome back in Sweden and ❤greetings from Värmland/Andrea
I've loved puffins since I read: Oh, There Once Was a Puffin… Oh, there once was a Puffin Just the shape of a muffin, And he lived on an island In the bright blue sea! He ate little fishes, That were most delicious, And he had them for supper And he had them for tea. But this poor little Puffin, He couldn’t play nothin’, For he hadn’t anybody To play with at all. So he sat on his island, And he cried for awhile, and He felt very lonely, And he felt very small. Then along came the fishes, And they said, “If you wishes, You can have us for playmates, Instead of for tea!” So they now play together, In all sorts of weather, And the Puffin eats pancakes, Like you and like me. -Florence Page Jaques, originally published in Highlights Magazine
This is what TH-cam is for !! This is a marvelous vid I was saddened that the Roo vids are no more. But the fox and puffin vids (all of her vids) are a must
Dani your videography and photo skills are amazing as always but you really couldn't go wrong on that island which is so beautiful and rugged too. That trek down gave me the willys. I am terrified of heights. I can go up but not down without a big struggle. You handle that very well and I'm sure your group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I tried my hand at taking quality pictures many years ago and got lots of compliments but had to give it up because it was getting very expensive. Thank you so much Dani!
Beautiful. It is wonderful to see the wildlife here, my family and I are going to Iceland next year. Though with more of a tourist expectation than any wildlife.
Lovely , fantastic work Dani.. Showing our Loving Creator's amazing and awe-inspiring Creation and our wonderful, wonderful animals. Already looking forward to your next masterpiece. Take care and be careful out there. ❤😊
I love this video so much,....it takes me away from the stress I am often experiencing. The views are breathtaking. The color of the water, contrasting the mountains. The sculptural rock formations.
Oh so nice you went to Drangy for the puffins. I recognized everything on the island. It was worth the difficult climb and down. I would we could stay longer on the island but we had to go back with the boat like you and your group. I was also on a photography trip in Iceland, in the summer of 2022. Thank you for this video. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Outstanding video, Dani! It’s incredible how your footage made us feel like we were right there in Iceland with you. That hike up and down the cliffs - absolutely epic!
Beautiful! I am the kind a person who always wants to experience the "smells" of a place. And I am surprised how often that is never mentioned. I watched an archeology video of a recently discovered Egyptian tomb, that had never been plundered. I was dying to know if it had a particular smell. No humans had been in the hidden chambers since they'd been created, hundreds of thousands of years ago. ( Dusty, or musty,.....smells of sand and earth, or surprisingly without odor at all.) I wished they had said something. They found many newly discovered hieroglyphs & mummies. The air in Iceland must be refreshing,...the rejuvenating ocean odors, and all the fish and fowl. And the plant life blanketing the cliffs.
What an amazing experience for you. Thanks for sharing. How you didn't bash your camera on the climb down. Or maybe you did lol. Hope some of the puffin photos will be available for download.
Dani I follow your channel with a very strong interest😊. Your talent is amazing and ❤looking forward to more squirrel content. With my very best wishes and warmest regards Steve Perry 😊
Thousands of puffins?! Last I heard from people in the know it's more like MILLIONS. I enjoyed the video! I lived here for 17 years and seen exactly zero puffins :P
I know nothing about how you create such beautiful photos but I wondered, your videos are so amazing, can you take a video image and make a photo that you publish or use for your calendars?
Yes, the return hike looked exceptionally sketchy. I'd have been on my knees, and I certainly wouldn't have been carrying a vlog camera on the way down. 😳 Carry on. 👍🥂
Beautiful birds. Star photographer of animal documentation. You could film monkeys in South East China, Snow Leopards in the Altai regions, Tigers at the Amur regions, humming-birds in Brazil and Peru and an Indian giant flying squirrel!!!😊
Question about the temperature there, at the dock you were all bundled up like it was freezing, but once on top you and your friends were in short sleeves. How warm did it get?
I'm curious. This video has a totally different look to your previous ones. Is it the vlogging camera you used, a LUT you used in editing, or something else? There's a kind of orange and teal look to it. Great video, I'd love to visit there, but I can only realistically add so many items to my bucket list and expect to achieve all of them. 🙂
Thanks! I actually just copied my luts that I made for the first Iceland video and because it was so grey, I made the blues more prevalent. However since this was a sunny day with blue skies, it made the blues SUPER BLUE. I liked how it looked so kept it!
Agreed! The Travel channel looks like amateurs compared to this lady! Give her a feature film. Let her do a remake of the Narnia series!
Have vertigo and was stomach churningly nauseous for your journey down from the cliff. But absolutely gorgeous!
So beautiful, I can feel the atmosphere through the video

Yay, thank you so much!

I had the camera in my mouth XD
Looks amazing! I really wanted to go there right up until you showed the route back down! Holy moly!
Was that an eider duckling at the end? Soo cute!
Yes it was! It almost got hunted by an American mink! I'll share that moment in my arctic fox film.
Beautiful birds. Star photographer of animal documentation.
You could film monkeys in South East China, Snow Leopards in the Altai regions, Tigers at the Amur regions, humming-birds in Brazil and Peru and an Indian giant flying squirrel!!!😊
This video was so good that I didn't see time pass.
I got little bit of her accent watching all her videos now I don't talk like typical sikkimish do love from sikkim ❤😊
Theres a video of a puffin hovering in the updraft doing 360s but its in low res I really eant to see it in higher quality
Question about the temperature there, at the dock you were all bundled up like it was freezing, but once on top you and your friends were in short sleeves. How warm did it get?
I would have worn a harness with some gear on (like a via ferrata) because if you slip, you're in the sea.
Way down looks scary 😮
✌️❤️

Skilled u r beautiful girl❤ I was on Island 1995 ....very cold but Special....😊
🌹🌹🌹❣️❣️❣️🌹🌹
Iceland doesn't have trees. 😳
Some areas still have trees. There are rewilding projects and thousands of trees have been planted.
Beautiful Lady
That 400mm hanging on the camera gives me anxiety. Maybe put a strap on the lens and not on the camera.
It made me nervous too XD
I change lenses so often, it makes more sense to have them on the camera...
