    I highly enjoyed watching this video. I like how you are able to add music and your voice at the same time. I haven't flown on JetBlue since 2009, so I am definitely hoping to again. The last JetBlue flight was one of the best experiences I have had on a plane, with friendly flight attendants and an abundance of TV channels. I can only imagine how much better it is now.

      @@nycflyertravel I agree. I hope I can fly JetBlue again soon. In fact, I have considered traveling to Boston just so I can fly on them again for a few years now, lol. @@nycflyertravel but they don't fly everywhere in the United States though they may be a good airline but they don't fly everywhere like out of my home airport of Baltimore Washington and Washington Dulles they stopped flying out of Dulles and only fly to California out of this area you have to transfer in Boston that's this doesn't make sense to fly Washington DC to Boston to go to Seattle but I agree JetBlue is a very good airline it's always hard it's just the offerings they have for service out of the DC area it's hard to fly them. Another great airline is Alaska they're number one in JetBlue number two

      Especially BA -who I consider to be a Budget Airline in all but price!

    • @visionist7
      @visionist7 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnchristmas7522 the budget carrier even applies to their premium classes. The other day I managed to fly BA First on their A380 from Chicago to Heathrow for 1200 Euros by subsequently connecting through to Naples in Club Europe, after an 11 hour layover (where incidentally I met Anne Hathaway in the Terminal 3 BA lounge).
      Whilst First was quite nice, and the staff were very down to earth and great fun (cabin manager gave me a full tour of the plane after dinner when I asked, even though it's officially frowned upon - he even showed me the crew rest in the central hold. I should have asked him to visit the flight deck after landing but didn't think of it) I honestly didn't find it anywhere near as spacious as I would expect first class to be on a premium airline like Cathay or Singapore. The food was OK; honestly I ate much better in Iberia business class a couple weeks before on their A330. I couldn't get to sleep either although that was due to the time of day; the cabin manager himself made the bed up for me through.
      Oh, and the amenity kit was quite nice I thought, nicer than Iberia's business kit.

      @@visionist7 Well I'm not surprised by any of this, next time if you can, try Qatar business class. No1 in my eyes, not a lover of 1st class although you ought to try Etihad, their first class is, well 1st class! Mostly my flights have been business class. Some of the airlines I prefer, according to flight route are;- Singapore Airlines, EVA, Turkish Airlines, Qatar and Qantas- across the pond it has to be Virgin. I go out of my way to avoid BA, which as it turns out is the same as Air Lingus, Iberia together with two budget airlines (IAG consortium).

    JetBlue has the best economy cabin experience amongst US carriers. The only fear I have is their operational issues that keep cropping up like gate delays and such but hopefully they get on top of these. I've flown their A321Neo (200 seat economy version) and found it very quiet and comfy. This will be my #1 choice when I fly to the UK followed by Delta from here in NYC.

Even when the aircraft is full it’s always been a pleasant experience!

    My family and I flew JetBlue (economy) from Heathrow to JFK on 7/24/22. It couldn't have been a better experience. Boarding was organized, the attendants were friendly and professional, the food was great, and the extra legroom was noticable (I'm 6'2"). Having only two available restrooms in the rear caused some issues, but nothing serious. Highly recommended.
    We continued on JetBlue from JFK home to Albuquerque and the flight was fine, but not the standout that the Atlantic flight was.

    I'm tempted to try them to London, I just wish they didn't give into the "premium oneways to force buying roundtrips" pricing like most other airlines across the pond, because then I'd do a one-way with them and then a LCC like French bee in the other direction to make a return trip while trying out two airlines. I still remember when the flights first went on sale last year and SFO-JFK-LHR/LGW-JFK-SFO was under $500 even for a long weekend/above-average demand period.
    I also watched the previous video for JFK-LHR and liked what I saw. Insightful and enjoyable videos!

    Thank you for sharing flying on the narrow body aircraft. Since this flight was not with a lot of people onboard then that was very good. If you have to fly in Economy on long haul flights, I always hope to get the seat next to you free. I am a tall guy 6'2" so, I need that when I can not fly Business Class. A few year back, when I could not get Business Class to Europe, I use to jump over to Newark to caught a 777 on United. That used to be half full in Economy. But flying long haul from Chicago, I love the wide body aircraft. So, in general for me the 767s, and 777s to Europe are what I do like. Having to large space to walk around and extra bathrooms on the wide body aircraft is needed!!! And then on the coast to coast (east to west in the US) the 757s are as small of aircraft that I would fly in old Business Class and currently in First Class.

    • @LMays-cu2hp
      @LMays-cu2hp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Now from the west to Hawaii, I have flown the 757s from LAX to Hawaii. Tha aircraft is a great narrow body flying long haul trips. First Class is nice with using my points. But I have flown Economy with being in the Exit Rows with the needed leg room and with an empty seat next to me a few times.!! That has been nice.

      The first flights were launched in August and September 2021 after being opened for reservation in May that year, and the plans officially announced back in 2019. On that note they aren't the only ones who use A321s, or narrowbodies for that matter, nonstop across the Atlantic, nor were they the first. Air Transat and TAP Air Portugal also use A321s on nonstop flights, while even the larger US airlines would use 757s on routes that are too thin for a widebody.
      For JetBlue this is what they have; if amenities like the included meals, WiFi, and/or IFE aren't enticing enough while their fares compete with airlines offering fewer or none of these things, then that's why it's nice to have choices.

    2 toilets for Y is way too few. There should be a midcabin loo as well, like there is on some AA configs. My other peeve with A321 flights is they are low and slow. More prone to bad weather, and easily another 1/2 hr to an 1hr flying west especially. So is it worth the ticket price? IDK, maybe?

      Can this plane make it so far?

    • @maxw2974
      @maxw2974 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mrparts SAS is flying that Plane from Copenhagen to Chicago and Copenhagen to Washington. Azores Airlines uses that plane on its Lisbon to Bogota service. It has a range of 7800 kilometer or 4850 miles. And Airbus will sell the A321 XLR with a range of 8700 kilometer or 5400 miles, that’s enough for the routes Frankfurt-Denver or Frankfurt-Miami for example.

    I wonder if that aircraft can make it non stop from LHR to JFK with a strong headwind in the winter.

      The newer A321XLR can. Bigger fuel tank, better aerodynamics and better range.

    ive always been doubtful of the A321LR Transatlantic. I love the 777-300/200ER, the A350-900/1000 and the A380, (A330 isnt too good and the A340 is a rarity now these days). I love the wide bodies way too much and dont fly them often enough to fly the A321 on the short bodies, am I wrong?

    For me, the number of restrooms is not an argument. Yes, widebodies have more restrooms but you have way more passengers too.

    Good call not ordering the alcohol on this flight. I could only imagine the lines forming to use one of 2 toilets in economy. Couple that with the crew trying to push their carts around.
