Reminds me of rebuilding my '63 Volvo 544 in 1969 before going across the US and Canada. I had never rebuilt an engine or changed out a clutch. My heart goes out to you Marty. Great show!

And this is why cleaning things before you try and work on them is great... because nobody likes having a dirty junk, and being covered in the fluid that comes out of your junk is worse, so clean out every cavity you intend to enter beforehand and you'll have a smoother time being deep inside it, with less unexpected dirty surprises. Also ensure your well protected, a clear plastic layer will prevent you catching something grungy! (being serious for a second, safety glasses are fantastic when working under older cars, rust and dust may be annoying, but if they stop you getting sprayed with an eyeful of oil you just skipped trip to the emergency department in roadkill style).
