As a runner who is training for a marathon, these foam rollers th-cam.com/users/postUgkx9XSsjzA4f84VmhBCHlyhec7XILIxennL are really good for sore and tight muscles. This one is a good size (mine is the purple, 36 inches) not too big but big enough to work and roll both my legs at the same time - I took a photo holding the roller next to me just to provide a better representation of its size. I noticed some reviewers who complained that this is, “just a foam noodle”… and yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s a high density foam roller. It is absolutely NOT the same consistency/strength/durability/ or texture as a ‘pool noodle’ thought and I disagree entirely with those that say so. As a former collegiate athlete and marathon runner, I’m comfortably giving this roller 5 stars. It’s lightweight and durable and does just what I need it to do at a budget-friendly price. Overall, I have no complaints and am happy with it!
Just finished my first session with this to deal with some tightness in my calf, and wound up doing the whole session. To my surprise, I didn’t know there were other parts of me feeling tension until I did them. Pretty amazing to see that I’ve been tightly wound due to daily running. Will continue doing and post a 90-day result.
Hey :)) how's it going? Can you update us? I just bought a foam roller and started using it today. My legs are very tight due to many years playing football and running with no stretching/releases :))
The instructor really is patient and caring in this video and for that we all benefit from it. It has useful techniques that are relaxing as well. It is great just before bed in my opinion.
Thanks for the demo! Really found it useful. I'm injured at the moment with Plantar Fasciitis and ITB problems. Running is my life!!! Female aged 69yr.
This is the best foam rolling video example seen so far.. This week is the first time using foam rollers I bought both the smooth and the rigid roller to target specific parts as I suffer with a lot of physical tension. I have just completed this video and I feel good. Thank you !
Thank you, this video has helped me / scratch that saved me. Recently began rebuilding my muscles and the roller is such an amazing tool to bring balance to my body. Much love ❤️
Really, the best routine out there! Muscle release was deep and full. (I also added some movements for chest muscle thouth, because they were really-really sore..) And special thanks to the instructor for comprehensible and patient explanations of each movement. Loved this one and will try to squeeze it in my everyday routine.
So, trigger point claims that the ridged areas of their foam roller acts like a massage therapists thumb, fingers, and palm. The million dollar question is, how does an inanimate object know which part of your body requires which part of the therapists hand? And how does it know it's on the right area of your body to be using that hand part?
i appreciate having a full body routine in one video.
