- How to replace a starter in a 3.6 L Chrysler product. This cheesy little starter is the same for a 2011-2014 Volkswagon Routan, ??, Dodge avenger, Journey, Dodge, Cherokee, and some other goofy names for cars I have never herd of. 2012 2013 2014 2015 11 12 13 14 15 16.

I know old video but still changing the world. And that level of sarcasm is exactly what's needed to get through changing one one these starters.
Whenever they ask me what make my car is I say Chrysler town and country P.O.S. Edition. It get a chuckle 50% of the time.
Hell yes. 2011 Town and Country, this video was the winner. Hayne's manual said step one was "remove catalytic converter". The wires are tight, but you can get it out of there. Just cut the zip ties like he did.
Everything is junk when you have to repair it. 😂

I now say "💩hola" ✊🏾 to my 2014 Ram c/v . Replaced my starter on the Ground! 5 months later the power connector tab has fallen off twice
I watched three videos for changing the starter in the 2011-2016 T&C cuz I couldn't believe you had to remove a motor mount; I didn't on my 2006, and I thought why would Chrysler make it worse? Anyway, yours was not only the best of them, but it was a hoot to watch. Thanks for the simple explanation and the pertinent details.

Thanks for the video. Its simple and I used it to change the starter on my 2014 VW Routan. Having the right tools helps (including a breaker bar). Be patient in undoing the wires.

Easily the best video so far of how to take the starter out. I have a 2014 Dodge Avenger 3.6L, So if he was working on a 2014 himself, this should be similar to where the starter on my car is.
It was easy after watching your video, I just had 2 stands not like yours but worked like a champ, thks a lot
