Yea guys i love this convo...Not meaning to highlight the negative spin, but , i think that social media really negatively impacts how someone frames their "WHY" these days.. Sometimes I feel like some drummers... musicians on a whole.. aren't really hip to the fact that there are actually a wide spectrum of options to this thing we call "why"! I'm really glad you guys covered this.
I check my "success box" when I know i've contributed to the drum community....Success for me is hearing " man what you said changed my perspective on x or y or z topic". Knowing that someone gained a new perspective is my "why"
