1974 Citroen DS -Special w/ Pallas trim. For Sale in Bonsall, CA. Recent service, Runs-Drives Great!

Imported from Rotterdam Netherlands to CA in 2019 -owned by a collector w/ various European classics, I'm helping him sell it. This sharp Blue Pallas trim version is in solid, great running & driving condition, with all systems working well, it has been recently serviced & improved by the renowned Citroen guru Paul Heilig of Citroen Classics of America, in Escondido, CA. Over $8000 has been spent the past few years to refurbish, repair & tune it to a peppy reliable driver w/ like-new interior -along with some paint/rust correction, etc.
The height adjusting hydraulic system works great -refurbished in 2024 w/ rebuilt pump, new lines, valve body, bearing, and fresh fluid.
With likely 155,620 KM (96,698 miles), the original 2.0L 4cyl engine w/ 4spd Manual runs strong and smooth without smoke. It had a recent tune-up with new plugs, coil, Pertronix electronic ignition upgrade, belts, etc.
The fuse box and instrument/gage cluster have been reconditioned with some new circuits, wires, connections, bulbs and fuses, a new hidden ignition button/switch, and major lighting/electrical connections cleaned throughout.
All dash lights & gages, interior and exterior lights work as intended, as does the rotating high-beams w/ reconditioned self-leveling system. The heater & fan work too.
The interior seat upholstery + comfortable foam seems newish, the headliner was replaced last year, and the carpet and all door panels are in great shape, handles & latches all solid too, no cracks in dash. New shift boot cover, new exterior seal around the windshield, all glass in great condition -no cracks/chips. Tires are in good shape w/ 50%+ tread & a newer full spare.
The body had some repair/repaint mostly on left side, there are a few areas of minor rust bubbling, 2 small holes on RR & RF (in pics), along with some dents in RR door that could be smoothed out by dent-specialist, a few scraped spots too. Underside is solid w/ undercoating intact, solid exhaust & a rust-free clean trunk. =A driver, you don't need to worry about using & enjoying out in the wild... It retains it's beautiful blue shine and complete, elegant Pallas trim. It's OE owner's manual booklets, full service manuals and records are included.
